This is by far the best dramatic representation of sultan Mehmet and generally the ottoman empire. Very profound, serious and graceful. Aptly captures the emotions and intensity. Unlike other plays on ottoman empire like magnificent century where the sultans are portrayed ridiculously vain, this one far exceeds. Greetings from 🇵🇰 Pakistan!

I've heard so much about this series, finally I can watch it. In Algeria, there are a lot of families that are descendant from the Ottomans, my mum is one of them. It's crazy how some Ottoman customs and traditions are still kept there.

Yup, and a Turkish Historical Series that is fast paced, entertaining, has good writing and keeps you captivated... hasn't been done since Kurulus / Dirilis. Very refreshing indeed, really liking this show so far
That one they released fairly recently "Mehmed" that starts at him taking the throne up to him starting to call the march to Constantinople was really good. The guy that played him was obviously not 21... I think the actor that posted him was actually a few years shy of 50... (A dang good 50, don't get me wrong. Like, Meeoow!). I just thought that version had a very different take on the character then what I've seen before. Also, the actor that played Orhan in it was the same guy who played Kemankes in the Kosëm version of Magnificent Century (and the character he played was the complete opposite of the two characters he played, it was really a testament to his acting skills!). That version could have been fantastic but it ended at a really weird place and there were at least three major plot points that were never explained at all. It was odd.
I discovered Ertugrul during the pandemic. I can’t remember how I found it. I live in Atlanta Ga US. It was all I needed to survive Covid. I learned so much history and turkish. Then I discovered Kurulus Osman. I am so happy each Thursday when it is released. They were on hiatus and it was tough not having it. I love the story. And now I have found Faith. I am in the middle of the first episode. I just had to stop and write this. I can’t believe how fast these episodes get turned around. It is amazing. They could never produce something this good in the US as quickky. Each episode is a movie. I am grateful for these productions. If I had it to do over I would have just studied history in college. Thank you everyone involved.

I love the representation of the harem in here. Usually, in historical dramas, they don’t really showcase it, we just know there are girls and eunuchs doing their thing lol but here we can see the gardens, the different rooms and is so full of movement!

Very important episode. Wonderful scenes. The actors they play the turkish roles they dont look turks at all. Especially sultan.

I love the representation of the harem in here. Usually, in historical dramas, they don’t really showcase it, we just know there are girls and eunuchs doing their thing lol but here we can see the gardens, the different rooms and is so full of movement!
