In a democracy it is very important to hold the government accountable. Any government is obliged to serve the citizens. The Christian missionary problem will get solved the day we wipe out poverty in the country. It is only the poor Hindus who are suffering from poverty who fall for missionary tactics, otherwise conversion rarely happens among the rich or middle-class sections of Hindu society. That is why it is important for India and our present government to create sound economic policies that help reduce or eliminate poverty in the coming years across the country. That process is happening today but is happening at a slow pace. It will take time to undo 70 years of Nehruvian socialistic policies but I think we will see India becoming economically strong in the next 30 or 40 years hopefully. When poverty is solved then you cannot bribe the starving man into conversion (like it is being done today).
I also think India needs strong laws against forced conversion. The Supreme Court recently told the govt to come up with those laws but of course our govt tends to sit on these issues.
BTW, you may not be aware of this, but I know a Church in my city that has converted many muslims into Christianity also. You might be surprised to hear that. So it is not only Hindus who fall in that trap.

The problem is Islam, not Muslims. Whosoever adopts Islam will act with same cruelty. Recently converted people are more zealous than those born in Islam. That’s what Islam does to an otherwise decent person. Mullick kafar, who was Allauddin Khalji’ s general wreaked terrible havoc in south India. Probably he holds the record of destroying maximum temples in the south. He was a recent convert to Islam. As Dr Koenraad Elst has said, whoever becomes a Muslim is a hostage to Islam.

You are right (I agree), but how do we distinguish between muslims and islam when the former is brainwashed by the latter to become this possessed beast (that is not capable of reason or self-introspection)? Please note, I am not discounting the fact that there are a "few" good, honest, decent muslims who are not radicalised or made into violent beasts by the book they subscribe to (an example being the Kerala Gov) but these examples are rare, they are exceptions and not the norm. In fact these exceptions (who oppose radical islam or Islamofascism) are treated by orthodox (common) muslims as "fallen muslims or non-muslims". To cite an old example, there was a Sufi poet who once through his own self-realisation came to understand the Hindu Advaita truth and shouted "I am God" (in Arabic). He was killed by other muslims for making that remark. Such is the nature of this beast.
Islam cannot be reformed because those gatekeepers who hold the keys are the mullahs and imams who interpret the texts in its most literal and violent sense and therefore are perpetually at war (jihad) with the world around them. We Kafirs (who have no interest in this cult) pay a heavy price for their inability to step out of this violent cult. We pay the price because we have to share this land with them.

Unfair to forget and take for granted the massive changes brought in by this govt across a range of areas. Without this focus on progress, people will only keep voting anti incumbency and nothing will move forward. I understand the criticism but find it a little too harsh and dismissive of govt’s good work.
Yet, massive respect for the speakers and the tremendous role they have played in giving impetus to the indic renaissance.
I think the point they are trying to make is don't emphasise development over security. You should prioritise security before development otherwise as the speaker says we will have bullet trains which will be trampled by stone pelters (that is a metaphor, not a literal thing). It is not that these speakers are against development, as Sai himself says crediting the Government's good infra development work in matters of Indo-China borders. He is saying development without understanding the great internal security threats and problems is like trying to first paint a house which has big cracks and holes all around it. Whether we like it or not, Bharat has many internal security issues in terms of enemies and anti-nationals camped within our borders. Until we address that first by bringing proper law and order and creating effective policies to protect our own people we will end up going nowhere. What use is all the development and PR stunts like vishwa guru speeches if in a few years due to demographic shift many parts of Bharat turn into another Kashmir or new Pakistan? That is exactly what Anand says highlighting a particular example in the video.
The direct approach to protect indic interests hasn’t really paid off in the past. I think the new approach, which I do observe to be different from BJPs approach in the past, is more practical. At least until our school curriculum is finally changed and the citizens of this country take an interest in protecting themselves. It is my opinion that the tipping point has not come yet. The mandate for 2014 and 2018 wasn’t protection (except maybe in pockets). Else how does one explain the lack of any significant public show of support for CAA? Wouldn’t one expect that if the majority felt so strongly about it? I think we are just not there yet as a society (unfortunately) and need to be distracted into making good decisions for ourselves. I don’t think we are stupid, but I do think we are still largely brainwashed.
Maybe I am wrong! Maybe we can afford a more aggressive approach. But personally, I have faith in this leadership. I think it has good intent, it has been through the “system” (years of experience trying overcome it) and is trying to find a workable solution.
@@madhuraharshey9535 I am not blaming the BJP for incompetence. I understand the problem we are dealing with is massive and cannot be fixed in a short time. But I do think we need sound policies based on a proper understanding of the multi-layered threats we are facing (from neo-colonialism, marxism, christian-evangelicallism and islamo-fascism).
Let me give you an example - Major Gaurav mentioned in a speech that in the past we have rewarded separatist (anti-india) elements in Kashmir. The government (not just BJP but the former one including) has given real estate and govt jobs for militants (in a move to curb militancy). This is the buddhi we are employing to solving the issue of Kashmir. This is just one minor example of how bad our policies are because we have not understood the enemy and the ideology that motivates the enemy. We think by throwing money or offering education or jobs we will solve these issues. Our shatrubodh is missing.
This problem is not just at the govt level but at the societal level which is where I agree with you that the response and support must start from society (from Hindus). I do agree that the onus is on the larger Hindu society to support the policies of the government whether it is CAA or Farm laws or anything else that is beneficial for our people. Hindus are still deeply divided and scattered that is why even BJP is playing the "centrist sort of role" today trying to appease all sorts of groups that hate them. I think the Govt has made some good policies but in things that actually matter we have not done well.
I will give you another example of bad political gimmickery. In Karnataka, the BJP govt in power recently said they will free Hindu temples but then within a week they quickly backtracked on that statement - why? If they truly cared for the Hindu cause and the Hindu vote then would they have backtracked on this promise? The problem is much like every political group there are opportunists and greedy voices even within the BJP. I am not saying the likes of Modi are corrupt (I don't believe so) but there are some elements within the BJP who may not have the best interests of the Hindu votebank.
I will give one other example of bad statements. Amit Shah recently said the onus is on good historians to write the correct history of Bharat and he said who is stopping them from doing it now? This is such an irresponsible statement because it is only the government that can initiate policy changes (not the average academic). Historians like Meenakshi Jain, Vikram Sampath, Sanjeev Sanyal etc have been saying for a long time that the government should initiate a project to clean up our school history textbooks and that they (as historians) are ready to work for that cause. But these academics haven't received any government support and yet the likes of Shah makes such a statement publicly. This kind of myopic thinking is what makes the BJP frustrating to watch. I am willing to give credit to every good policy the BJP makes (and they have made a few good ones) but there are still many things that require urgent reform which is not being done. What is stopping the BJP from freeing the Hindu temples in states where BJP is ruling?

1:30 I disagree completely w/ Anand Ranganathan. Something like the Second Amendment is precisely what India needs, and one sees it in Jammu in the form of VDCs (Village Defence Committees). While in the US, the primary function of the Second Amendment is so that there would be well regulated militias that would keep a check on the government (particularly like the Biden one now), they also allow people in remote areas, where police response times can be long, to defend themselves. Militias, as defined by the US Second Amendment, are precisely what VDCs are!
I used to think that the Second Amendment was fine for the US, but not necessary for everybody. Except that last year, we saw how Canada's government cracked down on their truckers, who certainly could have used guns when the government was busy freezing their bank accounts. Similarly, in W Bengal, after the 2021 elections, when muslims were on the rampage at the behest of Mumtaz Banerjee, had the people who got killed all had guns, they'd probably still be alive today. The idea should be to make guns available to as many non-muslims as possible, and train them in its use. When muslims or Leftists know that tthey have a good chance of ending up dead, they'd be a lot less enthusiastic to respond w/ violence

Hindu and other non-muslim civilians w/ guns are a major deterrent. While muslims are on the rampage in Europe, they dare not do it in the US b'cos they don't know which American is armed and which one ain't. Although some states w/ strict gun control laws have made it easier for muslims
The problem is that in US, you even have gun violence happening in schools frequently where little children are killing each other or shooting teachers, etc. I think regulating gun control/gun-violence is difficult because once you make gun ownership legal for 'all citizens' it creates a situation where some immature people (they will always exist) will abuse the law and trigger violence at a bigger scale, either intentionally or unintentionally (there have been cases in the US where children have shot themselves accidentally with guns lying at home). I am not completely opposed to the idea of legalising gun ownership (given the sad state of law and order in India) but it can be a slippery slope in the context of India because there will be numerous incidents that can go beyond control. For instance, in India, you already have internal enemies and sleeper cells (maoists, naxalities, terrorists, militants, gangs, etc), thug violence and goonda culture taking place in many areas (both rural and urban landscapes) across the country where the police are basically toothless. Imagine handing guns legally to those people. You'd only be arming them to escalate violence. I also think it is not possible to create a law where only "the Hindu" is armed and therefore it will come down to a situation where Hindu-Muslim violence or riots will move from sticks to guns.
If I could suggest one thing it is that Hindus should reinvent the old martial arts culture of India, like Kalaripayattu and ensure every Hindu of the next generation knows what it means to be physically strong and able to fight in self-defence (at least the men, if not everyone in the family). I also think having other weapons like swords, knives, etc and knowing how to use them properly in self-defence should be taught. In this regard, I think Israel has got it right in making basic army training mandatory for its citizens.

Vote bank politics is the bane of democratic banana republic that we built over the decades post independence. As a community, hindus are sandwiched between majority Abrahamic religions which are run by some vested interests. So only hope I see is that the Hindus should unite and reconcile the differences among them then set common agenda for their sustenance and development. It's certainly a big task, hence all intellectual inputs need to be consolidated and assessed.
