Vinland Saga's soundtracks were actually the only thing to be considered as a flaw of its adaptation. There are lots of unnecessary silent moments and piano soundtracks that felt quite out of place. Don't get me wrong, silent moments are definitely part of Vinland Saga but the show really could've used more powerful and inspiring soundtracks. There is that one really good one but that's hardly enough.
I kind of wish Sawana Hiroyuki would've made the soundtracks for it.

I haven't watched 7 deadly sins, but the meme with the main character on the bed looking worse than anything I have ever seen in anime is reason enough not to start it. And alone with the scenes Gigguk used in his video I felt that the proportions are a bit of.

I’m so happy Vinland saga is getting attention, even though the anime hasn’t been out long, it’s one of those anime’s I enjoyed so much it left an impact. I watched it when I was learning about that time era in school and some of the people i was learning about were even mentioned in it. Loving it so much made me associate it with the times I was watching it and it brought a tear to my eye remembering it and when I first watched it. Vinland saga really makes me just want to live in those times, even if I’d be scraping up poo, it really makes me emotional. Please watch it.

The story for season 2 is dull as hell. Shit, all the new characters have better story arcs than Thorfinn, but the Viking Jesus is the protagonist so we are to stuck with his sorry ass and his lame redemption story arc that, even if not a ripoff, is far less interesting than the redemption arc of Musashi in Vagabond.

This is how I actually find anime. Gigguk has basically inspired the isekai-trash inside me and of course the masterful works of arts when he gets serious.
Although I had no intention to do this, I missed almost entire 2019 so it seems that's how it'll end up.
Meanwhile, Askeladd got robbed as "Antagonist of the Year" in Crunchyroll's Anime Awards despite objectively being the character of the year.

@@pokeystar101 IKR! Isabella was a fantastic antagonist without a doubt. HOWEVER, if we compare her to Askeladd, there is ZERO, ZILCH competition. Askeladd objectively deserves to win because he is a man that we love to hate, as well a man we hate to love.
@@lachlanle7940 In a way Askeladd felt like a protagonist more than an antagonist at times which might have confused people. I would have preferred Askeladd taking the award, but I'm fine with Isabella as well, she was greatly written antagonist in my opinion.

You can find many easter eggs if you look harder
Finally got around to watching this, but even then only for two reasons: Attack on Titan and then Anime of the Year.
AoT is the most compelling story I have ever read, by a long shot. I think it helps that the author clearly planned out his story ahead of time and stuck to it, everything flows so naturally well.
WIT studio have done an amazing job animating the manga to life, and it makes me sad that they might not return for the final season. However, I am happy that Vinland got Anime of the Year, even though AoT would have been my choice for clear reasons, but this was good because it not only inspires me to read the story considering I have been interested, but WIT animates that too.
AoT went from a 7/10 during season 1 to a strong 9/10 with season 3 for me. Unlike stuff like Naruto, where they just made up the story as they went, you can actually rewatch AoT and see tons of hints towards the big reveal in S3. I got so much respect for that.
@@IronFreakV This is absolutely how I feel. I enjoyed it from the beginning, but Isayama kept the story as a slow burn, he never rushed to the big plot points to keep people hooked, he progressed the story naturally.

That one was great. I usually have to do that like 2-4 times a video with Gigguk. Even if it's not a new joke, I also loved the bit where a plane landed on the space between Koharu's eyes.

@@derekcox543 Being fair, the manga for bookworm... Is actually pretty good honestly. It's surprising. It's not the greatest thing since sliced bread but it's still a pretty decent series on its own. True, there are places it could definitely use some work but it's still an enjoyable manga to follow.
