Re-Zero Season 2 put me into tears when he went to his past. I still don’t know why but I cried. Haven’t cried fully in years. And that just made me sob uncontrollably. I fucken love anime sometimes.
Yeah that was a pretty great scene, and it gave us insight into who he was in the past and what he lost when he got transported to the other world. For me though, the one anime that has been able to have that effect on me so far has been Violet Evergarden. Damn that show destroyed me.

Felt like someone had a meltdown thinking about the translation with katana, which is correctly called nihontou in Japanese (lit, Japanese sword) and just vomited on the script.
Dorohedoro has one of the best world building and reding all the manga made me realize how much the author loved it herself, it was like she was having fun with the story and not dragging it out nor holding back anything. The way it ended it was just perfect, I literally had nothing bad to say about it and in all honestly that hasn't happened in a while. BUT who am I to say that, go ahead and read it yourself. You will not be disappointed at all.
the ending was fantastic to me cuz it was just as wild as the ENTIRE rest of the story. as i was reading i just kept on binging cuz i couldn't stop cuz i just HAD to find out what wild shit would happen in the next episode to resolve all of the mysteries and the conflicts... and then it ended i was like... what- HELL YEAH- what??
@@BewareTheLilyOfTheValley it also surprised me and it also makes kinda sense in the way that the females were equally as powerful and important as the male characters and the nudity scenes were not really sexualized/fanservice but more of "yeah she is nude and what" type of moment.
Manga definitely dragged on and had a very subpar ending. Some of the setup was obvious, and it would have been very rewarding if not for so many extra chapters murdering the pace because they had to deal with every single you know what - not going to spoil stuff.

It's like going to a restaurant, being served dope ass food, then expecting the cook to treat you like his or her child waiting for dinner.
