Funny you mentioned All Might, 'cuz I've gotten Napoleon in JP on Christmas Eve of 2018 and the Catalyst was the chorus of *United States of Smash* Yup! As soon as hit "Summon" the chorus synchronized with the Rainbow Spark, a Gold Archer Card appears, and Napoleon Bonaparte is like "I AM HERE MASTER!". I was like he heard my wish and fired his Noble Phantasm to answer my summons. *Best Early Christmas Gift ever.*
On being a super positive interpretation of history. One of Cu Alters interludes mentions that Servants generally manifest as the most heroic possible interpretation of their character with Alters being the most negative interpretation. From my experience people (including the writers themselves) tend to ignore that since well...few if any of the Alters really fit this description but hey its something.
Man, between This episode and Asterios getting his animation update, Im good on beefy FGO dudes for a bit. Also Im sure Niknak is happy that YET AGAIN, a recent episode was rendered outdated barely even a month after it came out lol. Just another to add to the Updates video next year. Anywho, in regards to Napoleon the best and simplest way to interpret him as an Archer is that this is Napoleon "The Legend" whereas the confirmed Rider Napoleon is "The Man." The former is the larger than life tales & fantasies quantified into an entity that can outright mess with causality as long as he has enough belief from others riding upon him, whereas the latter would presumably be the culmination of all of Napoleon's sins and virtues that he committed and held strong to in life. As for your hint...honestly there's not many French Servants in the game left so "they're French" would have done well enough as a hint hiven that the last few options are Corday (who never left France), d'Eon, Molay & Cagliostro. I don't remember if Molay ever went to England specifically so I can't guess for them but I ASSUME that both d'Eon and Cagliostro probably left to England, the former to spy and the latter because he traveled a lot maybe? Could be any of those 3. Hoping for Molay though, their video is gonna be WILD for Sekhie due to the whiplash.
A quick glance at their wiki page to see that they spied in England as well as the apparent risk of giving a potentially offensive hint tells me our next servant is Chevalier Deon. Funnily enough, they're one of the only servants I've made fanart of after they helped me in a tough challenge quest.
Napoleon is an interesting servant because as said, He is based more on the myth and legend of Napoleon then the man himself, Though i do hope maybe to get the Rider version someday(kinda like how i would like to get the Rider version of Ceaser someday) but not much else to add about him, he is awesome and tanked two hits from Surtr's Sword while blasting him with his big massive cannon So next Servant i am Predicting D'eon based on the hint

I was so upset I ranted to my mom about this and she just laughed at me and jokingly told me to sue the schools I've been to for this huge lapse in learning XD (she's a teacher so it's funnier)
@t.h.e.animeclub I was lucky enough to have a US History teacher who was a WW II veteran so when we got to that part of history he had a LOT of stuff to tell us about the war that went on in the European side of things. But considering I have always been a research kid I was always ahead of curriculum.
Valid. I read and studied outside of class, can't be a proper history major without that but still its funny that that area and period seemed to escape me XD.
Honestly i'm kinda fed up with the Archer joke because the more time pass and the more overused it is especially when it was always stated that it was about distant projectile (and if we start getting pedantic then fire all the Saber and Lancer because those frauds used swords and spears instead) and it turned out that most generals end in a class for emblematic of their army rather than Rider: Iskandar is rider because his army was know for his cavalries and himself generally leading them Caesar is a Saber because most of his army was using a gladius and a shield Nobunaga is an archer because of hom he put firearms in the forefront of it (and he also use a bow during Honnoji) And Napoleon who is an archer because he started as an artillery officer and put great emphasis on it.
To be fair, for me it's still funny cause my first archer was Emiya and that's still what I think of lol. Yeah anything can be a projectile but it's still funny to see someone heaving swords at others XD imho
@t.h.e.animeclub Emiya's case is funnier because his class was set by the counter force and he put him in Archer because he would get bodied by most Servant if he were to try to get close quarters with them so in his case it's literally the Mankind consciousness who said him "throw that sword because you suck using it"
going off the list of French servants they haven't done yet, not counting Charlotte Corday.... 🤔 my guess is either Chevalier d'Eon, Jacques de Molay, or Alessandro di Cagliostro? Granted I don't know jack diddly about the last one 🤷

I love that for him!
Ah yes most famous “””French person”””” ignoring his parents were Italian nobles kek so yes he is “””””French””””” kek
Napoleon! A lot of french people in a row considering d'Éon seems to be next.
It is ✨️ French Month ✨️
The big cheese himself, I still regret getting Astoria over him, since I have a dupe just a month latet
Ah the French Himbo is finally here
One of my favourites. I hope I can pull him one day.
"They're French and they visited England."
Do you have any idea how little that narrows it down?
XD well when you consider which French servants we have left its not the worst hint (TM)
Who is the hint about?

my guess is either Chevalier d'Eon, Jacques de Molay, or Alessandro di Cagliostro? Granted I don't know jack diddly about the last one 🤷
Since they said a wrong hint would be offensive to a group of people I say its safe to say d'Eon
