Nice video we are spoilt for choice when it comes to EV’s here in China 👍 although, hopefully one day every car in your videos and on the streets will be a Tesla! 😂
Hi Matt, I'm back in China ,I'm in Shenzhen heading to Guangzhou tomorrow to have a look about ,i just have a 2 week visa so I won't be heading up your way I will head back to Hong Kong in 10 days and get a longer visa and then head up north, hoping to meet up
Hi Matt, I'm back in Shenzhen, I've got a long-term visa this time, so I'm planning on heading north in the coming weeks. I plan on being in Nanjing in about 2 weeks time, I'll let you know the exact dates when I know
Yeah it's like that where I am from also. My analysis is that the vast majority of Chinese people didn't even have a car until the last 20-30 years, so they don't have the same kind of history with gas guzzlers anyway.
@@harmhoeks5996 You need a VPN to use UA-cam in China and most Chinese people don’t have one. They just use Chinese video websites and have never used UA-cam. There are some Chinese people with VPNs but a very very small percentage.
most dont use youtube they make tons videos on Chinese tiktok. For those do make video on UA-cam it's mostly Chinese content, I doubt it will be in your recommend feed
Apart from Chinese version of tiktok, they have platforms like Bilibili, hosting traditional 16:9 format video. To have an idea on how Chinese run their business, Bilibili exercises what they call social responsibility investing, they've built elementary schools in rural areas, and have their own EO satellite in lower orbit making content for younger generation to promote science and engineering.
Getting VPN is easy nowadays if someone is determined. Most Chinese people don't bother coming to YT is because there is no point of beating the dead horse. Most Americans or Westerners rather believe it was faked when they see a genuine video positive about China. Just keep them being fooled such as social credit scores. Chinese focus on their own life improvements while Westerners focus on sabotaging others life to make their life look better comparatively.
surely, with more and more EVs on the road, the air quality in Chinese cities must be improving. thanks for the video.
Yes, the air quality here is much better than before! You’re welcome!
to be honest, not only air quality but also noise condition in the street is getting better. those EVs are so quiet compared with ICEs
Please continue to do such videos would like to see dynamic over time
@@michaelnj700 Will do! Thanks for the interest and support!

Not sure about the numbers on that.

Meanwhile in my area anything that doesn't guzzle gas or belch smoke is considered Un-American

Basically all of China is moving to middle class?
Why aren't we seeing any uploads from Chinese people themselves
Because you don't know Chinese, Chinese people are more active in China's own videos as well as social networking sites.
