- This is the first video of the tear down and rebuild of a 1956 Spartan Royal/Imperial Mansion travel trailer.
Special thanks to Alex Bell for the music used in this video. He is a very talented musician and I highly recommend checking out his youtube channel here / @alexballmusic - Навчання та стиль
I had a 1956 Spartan imperial mansion all original, my parents bought it to put at myrtle beach but that feel through so I bought it from them. Everything worked great! I was working at the local hospital and I parked it in a mobile home park and lives in it for many years! I finally sold it to my aunt who lives in it til she passed. Not sure who has it now.
Surprised you didn’t know what a Spartan trailer was, one of the most iconic trailers of the ‘50’s and ‘60’s. Multiple sizes and styles.
We have a 1950 Royal Mansion; 1946 Manor; and 1964 Fireball Meteor; in addition to a 2018 Keystone Montana. The Royal Mansion looked in about as sad a shape as yours. Our Manor is getting closer to reasonable. It’s a challenge restoring these junkers. Best of luck. We had to dump a ton of money in the Manor, but everyone has to have a hobby.
My dream trailer 😱 look forward to seeing it come back to life.
i Got exact the same camper.... looking forward to see what you can do with it...!
Just scored a 49 Spartan Mansion 29 foot. I'll be keeping a close eye. Floor is still in but otherwise looks like the end of this video. As far as the walls.
Nice, I'd love to see your mansion. We're getting prepared now to lift the shell off the frame, should be fun! Thanks for watching!
Interested to watch the progress. Is there an update? Where is it located now? Are you planning to keep it or spec it for sale?
Right now it's located at my home in FL. I haven't done much since that video but will be starting up again soon.
I believe it is an Imperial Mansion and it possibly the trailer park trailer edition.
That's interesting because I'm pretty sure the decal on the side says Imperial Mansion, not Royal Mansion like I've been told it is. Someone also mentioned that it's earlier than a 1953, because in 1953 the design was changed to where both ends were square. I have to say I'm pretty confused!
This isn’t a 1956, it’s earlier than 1953. The rear end design was changed in 1953 to be the same as the front end.
Interesting. I've had a lot of trouble finding exactly what model it is. The registration says 1956, but it also says Airstream Spartan so who knows. The decal on the side is faded but it seems to say Imperial Mansion. When I search for Imperial Mansions all the pictures look more square, so I'm pretty confused about that as well.
Mediocre Manor give me some time and I’ll send you probably more info than you can handle on Spartans. Is there still a plate on the doorframe of the forward door? If so, that can help narrow or down as well as correcting the title.
My wife and I recently bought a 1946 Manor we’re working on but it’s in pretty rough shape. We have an Instagram setup and we’re probably going to set up a UA-cam to show what we’ve done to bring it back to life.
@@dangerforward7815 Hi, I am following up on a thread about Spartan Manor trailers. I have a Spartan that has been on my property for 40 years or more. Needs work and we are just now trying to find some tips on restoration. First is how to repair the front porthole door. Its tweaked and won't close properly. It's pretty sunk into the dirt on a slight slope. Any suggestions would be appreciated .
Thanks. Diana Hunt
@@dangerforward7815 - That’s really nice of you. Here you gave him good info about his trailer and not a word of thanks. Seems typical these days.
Is there anything to this project?
Hey Samuel, we just started this project up again. We'll be adding new videos weekly. Thanks for watching!
Das finde ich nicht gut, dass die Unterstützung vom Verkäufer so gering ausfiel. Immerhin hat er ja wohl den Kasten abgeschleppt und das ist ja schon mal anerkennenswert.
Wow and ewwww disgusting
