    Well, I got those two items you showed to work.
    I lined them up and used a weighted mallet and gave it a good couple of whacks.
    It started going together, and I was able to push them together.
    I also added that Walker walkie talkie attachment from Amazon, so now I have comms with my Walkers 😊

    I have both parts you show here, the adaptor you bolt to the HHV M-Lok rail, and the part from Amazon that goes to the headlhones.
    I guess I am not strong enough to slide those plastic parts together, I have even filed down the one a little bit that mounts to the helmet, then used a hammer to whack rhe peiecs to mate, no luck.
    I think I am going to go back to the HHV ear-pro one, at least I got it to work.

  • @murphywd1971
    @murphywd1971 Рік тому +3

    One thing I ran into is that sometimes the balls on the ends of the wires will make the plastic pieces that attach to the ear cups too large after you pull the wires out. If this happens, a short session with a heat gun will relax the plastic so that the ear cups won't fall off the wires.

    • @bigheadbok

      I ran into this. Where on the plastic are you applying heat?

    Awesome video and very informative! Just a quick note, the MLOK adapters are actually supposed to go in the lower center opening of the rail. To do this you'll need to gain access to the back of the rails by unscrewing the three Philip head screws. Once you've done that, you'll be able to slide the T nut through the back of the rail and insert it through that middle opening. After that you can screw the rail back on and proceed with installing the rest of the items. The adapters and mounts are susceptible to sliding/slipping off the top larger opening so to avoid that we advise to install the adapters in the lower opening.

      You guys should do a video showing that. As instructions were extremely difficult to find, that'd be really helpful.

    Wish I never bought the HHV helmet. Basket sucks so I bought a team wendy cam fit. Team wendy was still cheaper than HHV micro lattice crap. HHV has been the biggest pain in the ass due to the m-lok rails so everything needs an adapter and stick out to far. The shroud is junk also, had to replace because my Wilcox G24 was so loose it rattled. Basically had to replace everything except the shell and even that crap is made in China and probably won't stop a 22lr. If you're thinking about a HHV helmet just don't do it.

      @UChgryHeUHUF2B_Q_3D0giBg yea. There’s also American made helmets from American companies that don’t mislead their customers. This company uses a catchy name and appeals to veterans that don’t know any better and just assume this is a American based company with American products, which is not accurate.
