Can you do an update video? Can you show a test of how the storm ready works? If you discount the coax does it automatically kick in? Or does power need be off on the xb8? From my understanding you have to use xfinity WiFi and can’t use your own WiFi with the storm ready and the storm ready acts as a mesh network when normal operation? Is it good or crappy?

Great video. Was this the XB8? I recently got 2gig speed as well but phone speed never goes past 600mbps but I saw yours going over 1000 over WiFi as it should be.

Thank you. This is the XB-8T. The WiFi speed can vary depending on what other devices/signals you have around you when you test it. The get a “real” speed test, you would have to wire a laptop or computer directly into the modem and run a speed test.

My main router is at 1st floor home. Is it ok to put WiFi storm ready at 2nd floor home?

If it’s directly over, it should be fine but it really should be within sight near a window.

mine will NOT connect to Bluetooth so I did the manual setup it said it was activating for 1h 45m and the whole time my internet was out. I stayed up until 12:45 to fix my internet and it knocked out 67 wifi devices and all my smart home stuff.
