Doing a great job of explaining your work process! Knew you were gonna go for hard lines...fantastic look and execution! Could have made a bracket but nope, took it to the next level (where us viewers knew you were going)! Have the exact same flaring tool! Go RAC Garage, keep moving forward!
Looks good 😎 I wanted to mention that you should use blue lock tight and anti seize when assembling parts. Especially pivot points and sleeved pieces 🧐 it makes it easier to remove bolts for repair later on especially stainless steel 👍
Have you thought about mounting the distribution block to the engine then you only need the soft line to the block? Either way keep up the good work. Love the videos.
....yea.....now where the three lines exit to the carbs, use a three or four sparkplug wire line metal riser to hold them.... the fourth spot can be used for some wiring 😮
Love the sexy new hard lines. (I'm a sucker for nice hard lines.) But I've wondered how the soft copper holds up against today's caustic (usually with 10-20% ethanol in it) gas?

Oh yeah!! Hard lines!!!
That's the way!!!.
Sweet!!
Reminds me of fitting S/S hard lines to my injectors.
Great video Travis, love the way that you explain the process. Hope your family are having a great weekend
Thanks brother!

Way cleaner look. Very professional. Nicely done.
I like the rigid fuel lines, great job!
Thank you!
Very cool 🤙 have a pile of flathead stuff and don't know d*ck about them yet. Just picked up a few good intakes though
Beautiful job,as usual
This car is awesome. Saw it in person on Wednesday. 👍
Fuel Lines Look Good Nice Job 👍
Thanks!
Nice work on the Lines Travis
Thanks!
Looks great good job !
Nice looking fuel lines!
Thanks!
liked the video and good job on the editing
Thanks I’ll tell kelly

Then it’s only a few small lines, wanted to have as much hard lines as possible. Potato potato.
Very nice!
Travis, another good way to measure out your lines is to use some oxy/TIG welding wire.
Very true I’ve done that before
very nice

If you wrap the first one a little more than 90-degrees - around the linkage - it would be a straight shot into the distribution block.
Scratch that - didn't realize you were bundling the three lines. How about a copper bracket soldered to the three lines??
That’s not a bad idea

Try only using the first step of a double flare next time.easier to install hose and remove,no chance of cutting hose inside.
I feel like the second step gets rid of a hard edge. It folds it into itself
The Trinity of gas lines.
Haha right!
.... when we made baja vws in the old days, we sprayed women's hair spray on the cap and wires as they set....
Oh really? Thats a neat trick
.....now fix the alternator bracket with a back out rigger to the intake manifold somewhere....
I would only add 1 comment, clue people in on yellow and blue teflon, yellow gas blue water.
Dude. Would you please put that crescent wrench away? Especially working on carbs!
Never. Lol
why did you not use fittings on the fuel Block?
Because if they were both hard mounted the fuel lines will work hardened and crack over time from the engine flexing
@@RACGARAGE okay got it thank you very much
Why compression fittings over flaring?
The fittings on the carb do not accept a flare
@@RACGARAGE just 97s or 94s too?
@@tradrodsandcustoms 94’s should be the same
Have you heard of line wrenches? Sorry but can’t help it!
Haha I’ll use adjustable exclusively now
You might have just saved a car from a fire
nice job on the lines get new carbs for the truck i know lots of money but a lot less silly stuff
I do need new carbs for the truck, I hate always messing with the carbs
