    I believe traxxas makes a mount that can attach the telemetry module to the chassis brace but don't remember.

    Nice. When is a video coming about the difference in handling? Why did you choose the plastic housing over the metal one?

      @redbanditracing  5 місяців тому +1

      The metal housing is aluminum, the plastic one is pretty strong. I would save the $10 and go with the composite plastic you’re not going to damage it. So far the 1M weight fluid is perfect, not a lot of ballooning, and great grip.

    Great video. I have the rustler ultimate and would like to move to a center diff. However, doing so i would loose the speedometer. Do you know of a way to retain that with a center diff?

      Then you will need to use the 6814 center diff with 6539 trigger wheel. But when using that center diff it’s only rated for 2S.

    The Chassis Brace also annoys me... But isn´t it to reduce flex in the car? How would the aluminum Motor Mount help with that without being connected to the front of the car in any way?

      The Aluminum motor mount would help keep the motor secure so the mesh doesn’t change. We are removing the chassis brace and going to the motor mount.

    Hi I made this upgrade as well. Ive stripped out 2 pinion gears fairly quickly. Did my best to make sure the fit was correct with the paper method and really cranked down on the motor adjustment screw. Any other thoughts or tips?? Thanks!

      I don’t use the paper method, i do it by feel. Make sure the metal matches pinion and spur, steel/steel, hardened steel/hardened steel.

      The screw at the bottom that the motor plate keys into is probably lose

      Use red loctite on the motor plate screws, they come loose.
