Both the experts look so young. It’s amazing to think how long the show has been running and the amount of valuable objects that still turn up. Having lived in the US for forty years now, I can say that the UK version beats the US version hands down. An expat watching in S Florida.

Goodness. Those figures in today's money would be worth over $50,000. With the Chinese market going up, you'd imagine they might be worth even more. Very special figures, to be sure.

Whyyyyy does Moses have horns… I must google this! I have seen many historical figures with horns vs halos… interesting.

Rays of light. The Hebrew word for ray is ‘Keren’. The Hebrew word for horn is also ‘Keren’. The Old Testament passage that describes Moses as having rays of light emanating from his head was misinterpreted by renaissance artists as horns which is why many artworks of Moses show him with horns. This particular sculpture actually looks more like rays, but there are plenty out there with horns.

Exactly. קרן אור .a ray of light and קרן (של חיה ( an animals horn). Keren is both a ray of light and a horn of an animal (as a Ram's horn blown on Rosh Hashanah ).
