    Lots of gorgeous looks here. And that e-shakti dress...with pockets...yes!! I can't believe I'm 40 years old and I never thought to put another skirt over a shirt dress!! 😳 😍

      I know right??? Pockets are essential for me. I tried the skirt trick a few years ago with a dress that was too short for me, and it opened up a whole new world for me.

    Thank you for this wonderful tipps. I love the scarf-tipps. I use the last tipp in sligthly different ways. Years ago I bought a mini-dress that know way to short but have a wonderful decolette. But combined with a skirt I can still use it. A dress and skirt combination is also a wonderful way to keep me warm on cold days.

      The first time is did this skirt trick was for the same reason. I have a shirtdress that I love the color and and the top was perfect, but it was too short on me. So I just put a high waisted skirt on and it was perfect. And you are right, it really helps to keep you warm in the cooler months.

    You can also use a long narrow scarf as a belt.

    This was genius ! I now feel that my few 'vintage' style items in my wardrobe have tripled with the idea of styling differently. Love your new studio set up and the addition of that beautiful building facade is lovely. X

    These looks are great! I especially love the idea of putting a skirt over the dress to switch things up. Too bad anything with buttons gape on me...the curses of being large-chested...but this concept could be used with other dresses without buttons too, so thanks for the tip!!

    • @TheGlambassador
      @TheGlambassador  3 роки тому +1

      I also have a larger bust, and that's why I love eShakti so much. They have smaller buttons in-between on the inside to close up the gap. Or I'll sew up the gap to prevent that from happening. But you are right, you can absolutely use these same techniques with other styles of dress. Have fun shopping in your wardrobe!

      @@melissaskinner2199 I had the same problem with a dress. The buttons "popped open" all the time. I have a 30K in US/UK size. I asked a tailor to sew the part. Luckily I can still pull it over my head.

    Hey darlin’ how are you where are you living now what’s the plan I should probably message you on Instagram just thought I’d pop by and check in on one of your videos I did find it course I always inspiration I love so many of those and it’s raining today here in Minneapolis so I’m kind of liking the style with the tailored black jacket and the plaid skirt over the top and of course I know you would be definitely sporting a lot of brooches xx 💋 hug
