Hey guys, this is a precursor to a full farming guide which will be coming later this week! Also didn't mean to cover the minimap with my cam, normally play with map on the left in soloq so not used to my cam covering it. Will be fixed in next video :)
I think one thing this game could've illustrated that you glossed over was how to sidelane vs another fed sidelaner. In this case Trynd was also very fed and you notice Chovy literally NEVER interacted with him until the last 5 seconds of the game when it was already over. This is a coinflip duel that a lot of other people would take and would be nice to have a deeper dive into how he was able to make the right decisions while also avoiding him
I feel that I’m still too new to league for ranked, but I definitely noticed that I have a problem with falling off in mid-late game, especially when it feels like I’m fighting to get a lane to cs or on a champion that isn’t great at sidelaning because I’m paranoid I’m going to get murdered lol Great video as always!
I just watched some macro guides explaining how a mid lander should farm side lanes. And you just showcased it for me in action! I was definitely not executing this strat in my games so this should be a huge help in my gameplay. Thanks!!
I just stopped the video at 1:15 That Talon is either an idiot or a coward. I am struggling so hard because absolutely no laner whatsoever would EVER leave an Akali THAT low while going ignite. That is absolutely insane and unrealistic. I would (as it always happened) be pushed back by anyone after taking that much damage. They would force me back away from the wave and then freeze. This makes no sense
I’m in low Elo and I think It’s impossible for low elo players to farm like that mainly because support and junglers will just start claiming waves. I will not be able to farm for a long period of time because they pushed the wave out. How can I deal with this situation?
Watch Shok's video about CSing, it teachs you how to properly use your turns in order to maintain good cs and pressure advantage in the map by other means.
I can confirm, even as a mid gold level player. I don't miss CS due to just missing last hits any more than higher elo players, but don't always control the wave effectively and allow myself to get frozen on sometimes or just generally zoned off. I have been able to slowly improve my CS from like 4.5 CS/min when I started to averaging around 7 CS/min now. Even trying my best I don't think I've never gotten more than 9 CS/min in a solo queue game. Granted in gold even my supports steal CS right out from under be so it can be a hard to hit higher numbers.
Such an amazing channel keep it up ! So glad I found it ! By the way do you have any tips about building a champ pool ? Most guides covering the topic are kinda old and I'm not entirely sure which champs can be blind picked ATM in the mid lane. I was planning to go Zoe blind pick, having Leblanc as an assassin roamer type and maybe irelia as the ad third. (And maybe singed too cause he is so much fun). Thanks a lot for the content you are producing !
In my elo and for my skill my farm is not bad but not even the best... cause when I play Akali every members of enemy team try a gank on me so I can't even farm in peace (while the rest of my team die 2v1)... this game looks like a custom 1v1 in mid! Any suggestion to improve farm in my position? I'm a bad silver! :D
Probably just focus on not dying? Hard to say but Akali's farming isn't the best so if you ever die you will fall pretty far behind in CS, but she has pretty good tools to stay alive even if you get ganked a lot.
In low elo the lane positioning has seen my game improve massively, most of the time even if I just posture aggressively I still manage to bully them off cs for no apparent reason other than they think I have lane advantage due to my posturing. Especially when I pressure almost every CS, even if I don't stomp lane in kills I will massively win in farm. Even in games where I got hard camped I'm talking 10+ ganks a game I will always win lane due to just positioning like a crack addict. I'm currently silver and I feel much more competent already.
@@ShokLeague It was great, I was Akali playing against a Zed who is by all rights a lane counter and I was winning every trade and CS because of this disgustingly OP positioning trick
In low elo game while you are busy side laning, all your teammates dropped dead because of a stupid ward. 😂 Enemy scales really well as they start farming your teammates corpses.

If that happens then you just have to do your best to farm what's available, either jungle camps or share mid wave.
@@ShokLeague Alright, thank you!

Roam or back right before the cannon wave arrives takes longer to get pushed in by enemy mid
Hello, keep up the good work! Have been learning a lot from your vids 😁

Yeah I definitely want to make a champ pool video, sounds like you have a fairly good idea already though.
@@ShokLeague thanks for your response man ! Much love from France

great video! i didnt get why he went mid instead of going top before the baron
so good content wtf. ty
This was helpful! Till next time!
thank you for this guide i really like it :). btw are you planning on making an orianna guide any time soon?
Yep! Orianna guide should be in a week or so.
@@ShokLeague thank you very much im looking foward to it :)
That's still one of my biggest issues. My farming is so swing game to game. I swear I just can't get the last hitting right.
Maybe try identify a common trend in your bad farming games, normally there will be an underlying issue it might just be hard to spot.
good content!
great vid:3
i love this vid, but really sad that i cant see the minimap
hey shok ! i've got an idea for you, why not a how to play Ahri since she just got reworked? anyway keep grinding man
Yeah definitely want to make a first impressions on the Ahri rework and eventually a guide!

No better feeling than zoning the enemy mid off cs with your positioning hahaha

Good video. Would be cool tho if u dont cover map on future videos so the viewer can have more of an idea why he moves somewhere
Yeah I did this by mistake, I play with map on left so I wasn't used to having it on the right.
Nice vid but why tf is your facecam on the minimap…
Yeah didn't mean to, explained it in my pinned comment.
what skin is he using here
Think this is project with a chroma?
