I think there’s nothing wrong with your math. There’s something wrong with the 400k in the title. If he would teach private lessons for 40 hours a week which is a typical working week where I live he would ask about 1250 per lesson 😂

You're math is off. 47% of $400,000 is $188k. This is doable if he teaches 20hrs a week if he is charging between $150-180 and lesson.
