I enjoyed your conversation. I am about to purchase the Atelier Jupe Joey blouse, love the simplicity of it so it will showcase a beautiful fabric. I am falling out of love with Sewing Bee. I have followed it from the first season, but now I feel that time scales are ridiculous as the contestants don’t get a chance to really show what they can do. Also, many of the judges comments are based on personal preference and not sewing skills.
I cut my wedding dress up to make a bridal outfit for my daughter who was taking part in a fancy dress competition when she was very young. My Mum had sewn my wedding dress, but she happy for me to use use it in that way. My daughter is now almost 51, so it was a while ago 😅

I agree with the falling out of love with GBSB, how can anyone make a decent garment in that time . The times get shorter every year , goodness knows what next year is going to be.
