I gotta tell ya. That split/single coil sound is THE BEST I have EVER heard!!! No Lie. Most sound thin and reedy but whoa!!! Cathy(?) did a helluva job winding those and/or whatever electronics. Just amazing. I sat up and took notice. Thanks for sharing and Best Regards and Best Wishes!

just a thought, Sean... use some alligator clips on those pickup springs to hold 'em back then they are easier to start theme.. clip them to the screw with the spring depressed...

I intended to mention last night when you showed Brad's WRECKED Les Paul, when I encounter a too far gone gashed guitar I finish it with truck bed liner. I started with Spray from Walmart, then graduated to Parts Express EXO-HIDE speaker finish with textured roller. I had an Ovation Deacon in the 80's with a tan textured finish and loved it. Just thought I'd give my 2 cents . . .
I guess I'm newer to the channel, but I ain't ever tried to troll. It's crazy, though..the fact you have trolls and stuff is proof that your vids are popular and awesome, so you get the annoying and stupid trolls... anyway, I appreciate all Cathy and Sean do. Just found your channel…love your “fuck you” attitude! Love the Peavey …I got Peavey Falcon for $20 at a thrift store. It was beat to shit, black with a funky Kahler term . The neck was very nice almost put it on my Tele build but wouldn’t fit. I used the Trans Tint yellow dye. I wanted it to look kinda “whoreish?” Leopard print pick guard gold hard wear. I sold it for $ 275 to a crazy guy in a toque ! He sent me a video playing the hell out of it. Peavey at least the older ones , are very underrated.

NICE! 90% of the guitars I own I bought preowned. I pay a fraction of the price they cost new. Sometimes 5 or 6 time less that their original street price new. I have had great luck with Guitar Center both online and in the brick and mortar stores. I try to make friends with employees but most do not stay that long. I used to have a couple guys call me when something interesting popped in. I have played a few of these Peavey models they are way better than you would think. I would have kept the original pick ups in it I liked the ones I tried. I usually ask if I can keep the old pick ups when I do a swap I have a lot in my parts bin. I scored a beautiful cherry sunburst quilt top double cut away Peavey several years ago with a Coffin case for right around $150.00. When I bought it at GC I didn't know it came with a case! I thought I was just getting the guitar for $150.00. Anytime people ask me what guitar to buy my first response is go used. You can score a great guitar and have money left over for other stuff.
I have a collection of old Peavy guitars. The old ones, the T series were all made in the USA. If you find one with the Super Ferrite pickups grab it.
I have Two Peavey AT-200 Guitars. One still works and has the Antares System on it. The other does not work anymore. I love your channel !!
Peavey T-40 guy here. Heavy and solidly built, but the tonal selections are great.
I like buying used guitars because it's cheaper than buying new. At least it's been playing and love. Sometime it needs a little love and maintenance once in a while. Doesn't hurt to maintain it considered the price of the guitar nowadays.
I bought a Peavey V-Type Vandenburg model years ago, and sold it. To this day, I'm still kicking myself for doing that. I bought it from an old band mate that I had a bad falling out with, and I wanted to totally get rid of his memory. Maybe a good enough reason, but damn that was a sweet guitar.
I have 3 T-60''s. Had 4 (big Johnny Copeland fan). Don't know what got into me when I traded one off.
I had this idea to build a burst Tele with Hummbuckers but Your channel is always a blast to watch.Murica!!!!

Love Peavey guitars. I have a USA built Peavey Tracer. It’s been my go to workhorse since 1990. I have also had some predators and raptors and for the price they are damn good guitars. You got a good one
There's someone on my local Craigslist and they're selling a Peavey for $50 , but it's a Strat and I'm not really a Strat guy. I've got a couple , ones a custom built super Strat from a builder in my state and the other one I completely modded out with hot rails and upgraded all the hardware. Plus I blocked the trem , because I'm more into the hardtails. It is tempting though for the price because it looks like it's in good shape 🤔

The tom bridge with the strings thru the body is the way to go,this is the setup ill have on the single cut Kiesel CS3 im going to order. Also i like the position of the volume knob--- its out of the way of heaving strumming and picking. Great video,always funny and it just makes my day seeing one of your videos. You like Peaveys, Sean? I have my second of two; my first was stolen. This one I called myself buying to flip, then convinced myself there was no market for it and kept it. It's the only 21 fret guitar I have. It might actually be the only 21 fret guitar I've EVER had! I'd probably get rid of it, but it sounds WAY too sweet. It's a Raptor EXP Plus. Cost me $50 skins to acquire, then I tossed the bridge and put in a killer brass and steel replacement. Smoker is HEAVY now, but I wouldn't play anything with less than 22 frets in front of people anyway. (I almost won't play anything but 24 fret guitars.)

Sean, Would you please post a link to those string trees? I've spent time looking on Amazon, but I can't tell which ones are junk or not. I bought the Fender ones last time, but they require 2 holes and don't have rollers, just a small rounded surface.

I bought a peavey detonator for a 150 bucks at a pawn shop, it says made in the USA, it's beat up but plays and sounds better than most of my other 13 guitars, and all I had to do was change the strings.

I wondered if you knew about the push-pull pot or if it was replaced. Man, that Teflon tape has more used than WD-40.I got one exactly like that about a year ago. The neck is a bit wonky and the action was really high at the 12th fret. I took it to my favorite luthier to get it straightened out and he didn't want to fix it and told me to shim the neck. It still plays awesome and sounds great! The serial number on mine isn't far from yours. Mine was made a few hundred before yours. LOL

It seems you use about 3 sounds consistently if I'm correct and I've not seen one of the guitars you've played sound bad to my old ears and this thing sounds killer! In the late 90s I borrowed a peavey raptor from a friend for a couple weeks. I thought it was great guitar for the price range. Although I never had a chance to play it before he had the setup done so I'm not sure how great it played at the time of purchase
