Great video dude. Concise and offered all the information I was looking for. Appreciate you uploading this. 💯
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks :-)
Great thank you! I just ordered the 5g home plus, but I didn't know I could still hook up my wireless router to it with IP pass thru, very handy tip.
Glad this was helpful, thanks for sharing!
Thanks for the video, I ended up getting this after watching this. I can absolutely say I am very satisfied. 3 xbox and a pc gaming all at once with zero issues thus far. I used the information provided to get an upgraded gateway that I would of never known I was throttled by the equipment. Thank you so much!!
I'm very glad this video was useful for you, and you're happy with your new Internet service! Thanks for sharing 😊👍
what is the upstream speed?
do you use your own router?
@@ramonflores6755 no I do not, for a couple months the service ended up being very bad. Luckily I work on cell phone towers so I knew the towers in my area we being upgraded. I just waited it out and now I’m running great again. Each month I called and complained about the service(my issue was ping) and ended up getting discounts each month until it was back to good.
Where did you place yours? I am actually setting mine up as I type this. I am going to put it in front of the 2nd story window.
Thank you so much! Been trying to get my smart devices to work on 2.4ghz and your explanations on set up gave me the answer I needed after much searching elsewhere.
You're very welcome! Glad it was useful for you 🙂
Thanks for making this stuff much easier to understand!!
You're very welcome! Glad you found it useful 🙂
Verizon is delivering my 5G Home next week. This video was very helpful. I will configure the device as a modem and continue to use my Netgear wifi router in my home. Thanks.
Great video! I just ordered the same plan you did earlier this morning. I checked out your video to see what installing entailed. Liked your video enough to subscribe to your channel. Thanks.
Glad you liked the video and really appreciate you subscribing to the channel! Hope the 5g signals are strong in your area and you enjoy your new internet connection 🙂👍
Awesome video! great information, you answered ALL my questions!
Glad it was helpful! Thanks :-)
I really enjoyed this video. Tons of information in an interesting format with a knowledgable guide. Thanks so much for taking the time in helping others.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks :-)
Ooooooh! Passthrough!! I wish I knew about that before!
After a year or so of use, I can highly recommend it. I experience power outages often, with a backup generator we still have power and internet. I have to restart it once every three or so months, aside from that it has worked well allowing the family to stream movies and play online PC games. During inclement weather, it can be a bit slow at times. We are moving to an area where I can get cable internet but will be keeping the Verizon 5G service, the cost for performance is well worth it, in my case it is just convenient to have.
Great video sir it answered every question that I had 🤝🏾
Glad to hear that, thanks 😀
Dude, that was an amazing amount of info! I hugely appreciate it! The only info missing is in which *city* you were doing your tests. ;)
You're welcome! Glad it was useful!
That info you're talking about is not missing from the video, you could've seen in where I showed the speed results 😉
Yes. You knew I was looking for the plant ☘️ 😁😁😁
Another great video.
Yay! Thank you! ☘️ 😁😁😁
Thank you for posting this. I went to Verizon recently to upgrade my phone and they sent me home with a router for free because I was interested. I did not unbox yet since I have a month free and I wanted to just take a weekend to test. I would not have thought to check router type if it were not for this video. I guess they are trying to get rid of the old routers since the newest ones came out in December. I may still test since your download speeds were double what I currently get with our provider.
Our current router is actually near a window already and on our 2nd floor where our "office" area is. We have to use amplification devices for our items downstairs so it's not a huge deal for me, but I do think I will return the router now that I see they just want to dump old routers.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience! Glad this video was useful for you! I hope when you get a chance to test it, it doesn't disappoint you. Thanks again 🙂👍
Thanks for the great information! Just ordered one of these for a relative.
You're very welcome! 🙂
So much useful information. Thumbs up!
Thanks 👍🏻
Good information. Yes this product is great for competition. And it's subject to your cell towers near by if they have N77 or MMWave and as N77 gets more MHZ soon this will only get better as more will be able to be spread around
Great review of the unit. I'm considering this or the T-Mobile unit more towers near me by 2X) to replace a cabled internet; I still use the cabled internet due to needing the speed until I retire later this year, and its cheap in my area since there is plenty of competition. If I swap now the cost for either will be the same per month as cabled internet ($50 in my area). Have you ever considered a cell signal booster for the Verizon 5G unit? Pretty simple to install, antenna outside with a coaxial cord feeding into an amplifier and antenna. It may allow you to put the 5G box anywhere you want in your home and increase upload and download speeds.
Thank you for making this video and clear explanation.
You're very welcome 👍
I just subscribed, you video was very helpful.
Glad to hear this was useful for you and thanks for subscribing 🙂👍
Thank you for the information looking into buying this device for my home.
Glad you liked it, thanks!
Thanks for the review, especially showing us how to do the IP pass through. Because of your review, I gave it a try. For $25/mo, why not? I just got it today and my test speed is consistently ~400 Mbps. Coming from Woway 1 Gbps plan at $65/mo, I feel like I’ve been under utilizing the bandwidth. So it’s time to downsize and save myself some money. To me, Verizon 5G UW is more reliable than cable. At least for my area. I always find myself disabling home wifi more than often and switch back to 5G UW on my phone many times…..
You're very welcome and thanks for sharing your experience :-)
THANK YOU! Verizon customer service had no idea how to program this into bridge mode!
You're welcome! Glad this was helpful 🙂👍
Great review!!!
Perfect description.
Thanks glad you liked it!
That was really good stuff and even was enjoyable with persian accent :) :D
Thanks, glad you liked it 🙂👍
Great Video. Thanks for sharing your expertise
Glad it was helpful!
Dammm, I didn't understand some of the techy stuff that you mentioned but I have to say this was a thorough review lol. I just ordered mine today and I am sure that it will be better than what I was use to. With ATT in my area, I only had 3 MBPS....yes 3. I was able to function with UA-cam and streaming...not sure how but it worked lol. So anything above that will be lightening speed for me LOL. Thank you!
You're very welcome! Glad this video was useful for you (at least some of it 😁)! Thanks 👍
Great video, Thank you!
You're very welcome!
Thank you for featuring the IP Passthrough setting and how to eliminate the double NAT!
You're very welcome!
Great video as usual. tnx for sharing.
Thanks for watching! :-)
Thank you this was very helpful. I called Verizon the other day and even they had a tough time telling me my likely 5G home internet speed. It appears to be dependent on your proximity to the right kind of tower. So, I am hesitating right now - a little afraid to give up my 1 Gig fiber optic connection!
If you have a Verizon phone or know someone with a Verizon phone just get them walk into your house and test their speeds on their phone. Whatever signal and speeds they're getting would tell you how good the Verizon Home Internet will be. The Home Internet is basically if you turned on your phone Verizon phone's hotspot and turned it into a Internet Modem.
Good insight, I'll definitely consider using my own router. I work from home and went with the 5G Plus option for the faster speeds. I asked Verizon specifically for the gateway that mounts to a window to get an optimized connection. However, they refused to give it to me because they said they only give it to customers that are in a 5G UW coverage area. The tower near my home is 5G and will eventually get UW - so once that's turned on apparently I can swap the gateway for free. Seems counterintuitive why they didn't just give me the better option upfront, but I'll see how it goes with the cube version instead. I'm having to go with Verizon since the infrastructure in the neighborhood sucks, Xfinity didn't even bother laying any cable and the fiber speeds are a joke (75Mbps/5Mbps). Hoping Verizon is the solution I need for my new home. 🙏
Don’t take your speeds for granted you’re speed is 5x mine
@@toonz6913don’t take your speeds for granted I get 500kbps
He explains a lot of things in a simple way. Enough for a new guy.
Thanks so much, glad you liked it :-)
GREAT VIDEO THANK YOU! Do you have a step by step guide on how to add your personal router with the 5G Home Internet Gateway??
I love that competition is starting to become available. I have a slow, grandfathered, cable internet plan that meets our needs. But if the cable company tried to jack up the price much more than they already have, I would jump ship to something like this in a heartbeat.
My only concern is that guarantee of only two years before Verizon could start raising the rates. For me, $50/month is quite an increase over what I pay now. And I doubt I would ever be a Verizon mobile phone customer. I am a very happy Mint Mobile customer.
Great video nonetheless!
The good thing is other providers such as T-Mobile is also starting to provide the 5G Internet, so hopefully more competition can help to prevent them from increasing their prices! Thanks so much for sharing your experience and glad you liked the video :-)
I just went from Spectrum, which had a monopoly in my area and was charging me $80 a month, to Verizon 5G Home for $50 a month. Southern California.
@@damienholland8103 with my 80 a month with spectrum I get 500 mbps. Verizon can’t even touch that with their 25 or even 50 a month.
@@AllUntold when I switched my download speed was 340 and upload 10 and it went to 284 and upload 20 or something like that. I don't notice any difference.
@@damienholland8103 Same except for T-Mobile and NW. Spectrum sucks majorly.
Nice review! Can this be used as back to my cable based internet? My suddenlink internet has crept up in price but I had no other options where I live. I have a new Verizon tower that recently stood up in the neighborhood a few hundred yards away from.my house at the most!
Well, well another video. I'm from Europe so for me the topic is not of great use. But I like the the results of your editing of your videos. Moreover I like the content of your videos and the quality of the presentation you accomplish; rather complicated content presented very well structured and in a pleasant way, so didactic responsible. If not for educational purposes one might as well watch your videos also for fun. Thanks again Behfor.
I'm so glad you like the videos and really appreciate sharing your experience! I've heard that in Europe Internet is much cheaper and at the same time faster than U.S.
Thanks again :-)

Great video and I had high hopes but I've given up connecting my own router. I have a Netgear Nighthawk model R7800 in which I cannot get connected. Can you do a more step by step video on how you hooked up your router? After turning on my IP passthrough I can't do anything. Thank you for your help.
great video. Thanks for sharing
Glad you liked it! Thanks 👍🙂
Nice. I have Verizon for my phone thinking Bout getting it for home internet too. Since charter was the only internet in my area the prices are out of control. Time to see Verizon and hope they have it available.
Thanks for sharing and good luck 🤞
Great video, thanks! Just got the Verizon and saving $20/month off Spectrum. So far so good.
I got my last week and I'll pay $50 month compare to spectrum $100 ..and then try to convince me to stay with them
@@rauljuarez3884 Had to switch back to overpriced Spectrum for the $69.99/month. Verizon was just way too slow in my area. on TV/computer/phones. Bummer.
Thank you for the review - I'm considering adding 5G as a failover option and connecting it to my own router since I WFH...
You're welcome! That's a good idea, good luck!
Just got my Verizon wireless internet and was wondering what you did, if anything, with the Ethernet cable provided? Do I need to use it. My current Xfinity modem, I have Ethernet cable plugged into my DVD player along with the modem. Thanks for your help.
excellent. i have the gateway device also, i discovered that the placement of the device is critical. If you call verizon support, they can tell you which direction to orient the gateway device so as to "point" toward the nearest cell tower, in my case i was facing the exact wrong direction. But it still worked, sort of. But when i placed it facing the correct direction my connectivity problems went away.
Thanks for sharing! Glad yours is working great now 👍
Which way is the correct facing direction
Great info, we pay the $35 and didn't get the upgraded modem. I'm going to call and find out why. Thanks
thanks, I have had 5G home internet for two months now, worked great. Then it dropped the connection from the tower, wifi signal was good, went to support, two days 4 or 5 techs, got it going again but it is running slower, the box was always in the same place, close to window. BUT it is not the same, I think they throttled it, to tell what I think, they had me do the reset twice, little button inside hole. It's better than my old CenturyLink, they didn't give a dam.
In my experience and when speed is not good, usually a power cycle fixes the problem! Thanks for sharing 🙂👍
very helpful! thank you.
You're very welcome!
@@Behfor 😀
Because the service is so new, the issue I just found out is whether the higher speeds are turned on for a given tower. I was sold a service that was supposed to be symmetrical 1Gb but in actuality is only 300/20 because the tower that is 500 feet away from the house isn't set up for the Gigabit yet. The customer service lady was very informative regarding rolls out while the guy who sold me the service was just looking for his commission.
EXCELLENT video. Just the right information I needed. Now, this was interesting in the 2:31 mark of your video. If I'm paying for the more expensive service, and ONLY get the Verizon Internet Gateway box, then I'm getting the same performance as the cheaper plan! Do we as consumers have the option to choose our equipment, and choose the 5G gateway box instead?
I'm not too sure, they didn't give me that option though. I think they have updated their website regarding the plan information and they no longer mention that there are 2 devices for the 5G Home! I would suggest to ask them to make sure you have the most updated information thanks.
@@Behfor as a verizon worker. the answer is no. it is based on your area which equipment is available.
دم شما گرم
how do you get the 5g internet gateway for the higher speeds?
With ACP and auto pay it's $0 per month. No cost for the device, no installation fee, no activation fee, $0 per month.
I have mine sitting on my desk by my PC and get 94 down and 14 up.
I'm not complaining. For the price it can't be beat.
Thank you for sharing
You're welcome 🙂
I have it. I use it on a “job site” for about 12 devices and no issues. Definitely worth the $15 I pay “after discounts” for work WiFi
Thanks for sharing!
Very good and informative !!
Nice job !!
Glad you liked it, thanks 🙂
great video.
Thanks 👍🙂
So if I understand correctly I am at an advantage using a different router and turning the gateway onto passthrough mode and using it as the modem? I'm asking this because where I live internet is very bad. I used a jetpack also from Verizon for internet and changed to this. My speeds are download 70 mbps and 12 upload. Not as good as yours at all but for me very very good. I'm wondering though about maybe more settings as to get the most speed I possibly can out of this little guy. I use it primarily for gaming. I had a heck of a time getting my xbox to get an open NAT type. It took hours. I had to forward port it or something it's called. It's advertised as plug and play. Idk about that my pc as well was a little tricky bit still I have to mess with my Xbox settings every time I turn it on. So could you maybe give me some insight as to what settings I should be using to best utilize this internet. I'd greatly appreciate it. I'll get a router if that's best or hook it up directly to my computer and run mobile hotspot from it eventually using it for my wifi? Please help me out brother! i just ran a speed test with my cell phone its an s21 by the same carrier. its download is 195! off of the verizon home internet gateway its only getting 80 at best.
It is still better than my county's version of 4G modem. It has legit full signal but offers 12 Mbps DL and 2 Mbps UL at best.
Bought it just for fun and for Internet backup.
I know the feeling when there is no competition, somehow there are a ot of fibers provider in my area recently, the current fiber has legit half the price with more speed than the old one, I wonder how the old one can compete
Thanks for sharing! Yeah competition is good and needed in the ISP world. Unfortunately here there is no fiber available yet! Thanks :-)
I actually had a nightmare of a time getting mine to work, the light was yellow for a while, then it turned white but I still didn’t have an internet connection, so I held the reset button on the bottom and when it rebooted I had wifi! Just thought that was an interesting story.
Same exact reason why I switch. Here in my city Cox basically has a monopoly and is overpriced, bad service and extra for unlimited data. I switched as soon as Verizon was available
I feel you! Thanks for sharing 👍🙂
Verizon's even worse
The whole part about the gateways offering different speeds it’s a bit not updated as Verizon just recently upgrade the cubre to be the only one carrying that 5G uw
This is a great option for people who currently have only one poor provider in their area. Competition is the great "level the playing field" to keep prices low for the consumer. I have recently switched to a Ubiquiti UDM (the all in one "Apple looking" device) and it has so many features and settings, VPN, firewalls, endless...that seeing the Verizon settings were even a step down from my prior router (WRT 3200ACS). Nice video good content and well presented. I enjoy your videos.
Cool! I haven't tried the Ubiquiti UDM but I've heard good things about it! Thanks so much for sharing your experience and glad you like the videos! Cheers :-)
I got one of these and it's just as bad as my one slow internet option in my area. I only get max 10 mb/s out of it
I need to figure out what to do here, I have spectrum and my internet keeps shutting off for hrs sometimes. I literally bought a brand new asus gaming router last year, it helped fix the speed issues. But now all of a sudden they keep turning my internet off on us. Seems like after so many hrs of streaming shows, or playing a game for an hr or so they shut us off. I wanna know if I can use my router with Verizon homes internet.
Nice video. I got one with basic plan yesterday 50$/month.
Speed range is 13-45mbps.
Office remoting is not good.
UA-cam watching is fine.
I am going to try it for 2more weeks. But mostly will return it.
Thanks for sharing your experience. I would try it in a few different locations and test the speed again. It looks like (from the speed range) that yours might be connected to 4g and not 5g. Good luck!
Outstanding review, thanks. Verizon site says it's not available in my area, but it's available at a friends home 30 min away. If I ship it to his house and picked it up, do you think it would work at my house?
It will not work because the 5g is not available in your area
Hello, I just got the Verizon 5G but it seems the settings may have changed, I'm looking to use my TP-Link AX3000 router instead of the Verizon's router because of my smart home already being set up, I don't even see LAN options can you help?
Very helpful, video. Thank you! I have a question: If you're connected to the gateway on a laptop with the IP address in your web browser, over Wi-Fi and enable IP passthrough, would you then lose connection to the gateway after you turned the passthrough feature on?
You're very welcome, glad it was helpful. Yes and that's why it is better to use a wired connection. Please check out this short video: ua-cam.com/video/UwiN5-hNF7M/v-deo.html
Thanks
I haven't had the 5G internet from Verizon for about 3 months and it's working great I've had to go on to their website and reset it two times that's the only problem I've had
Glad your Verizon 5G Home Internet is working great! Thanks for sharing 🙂
I've had mine for about 8 days now, i don't use the wifi at all it is connected via lan straight to my desktop. The first few days were great, getting download speeds up to 300 regularly. Now the past couple of days it has been very slow. No faster than 40mgps and sometimes lower than 1mgps.
Thanks for sharing! It's possible that it might have switched to 4g. I would do a power cycle to see if it can fix the problem! Thanks!
Same for me. We don't have other options. My worry is that it will be hard to work from home with the Verizon Home Internet.
Nice review with a lot of good information, and well presented.... fine presentation....
Glad you liked it, thanks so much 🙂
Checking all this out for leverage. I'm a disgruntled customer! I’m going to the store, which I hate dealing with their snotnosed college salespeople (they usually try and rip you off, say they don't work on commission but that's B.S. worse than car salesmen), to see if I could get a decent deal FINALLY. Been a customer for over 6 years. Why have you been a customer for 6 years, if you hate them you may ask? Because where I live there had been no other options until now. It was either Verizon or nothing. I had my MiFi box for 6 years, runs like crap (like old dial-up.)! I wouldn't even go into the store to try and get a new one because I hate dealing with them so much. Plus, they used to give you a new one for free, now they charge for it. Was thinking of trying this new box, if they say it's not available in my area or give me that dumb look like they don't know what I’m talking about (got that from them before), I’m paying off my phone and saying, “SEE YA!” This is their last chance. They give methe deal advertised, no bait-and-switch like they usually do, or SEE YA!
Thanks for sharing...
You're very welcome!
thanks man , cool video. what if i want Wifi from both 8:33 because I live in a big house is it possible ? also can you boost/improve the speed by using antenna ? will you test this please ... thanks
Hi, thanks, glad you liked the video. If you want both of them to have WiFi the best way is to use the Verizon Internet Gateway as is ( IP Passthrough disabled) and change the operation of the Wireless Router to an Access Point and connect it to the Verizon gateway. Unfortunately this device doesn't have an option to connect an external antenna. Thanks.

Thank you for the great video. I got min on 6/27 but they gave me the 4G box and service "by mistake" at the store. After hours on the phone, and not more store visits, I got the 5G Box like you have. It's the only type now (per their service department anyway).
Initial testing - download was initially 145Mbps around 6 PM.
I tried it at 5 AM today and it''s 321Mbps hard wire to LAN2.
BUT only 94Mbps on LAN1. I'm not sure why LAN1 is so slow. At first I thought the entire switch was 10/100 but only LAN1 is 100Mb while LAN 2 is Gb.
That could have been a problem when I do what you did but didn't use IP passthrough. Attach Verizon box to my 802.1AX router to LAN1 port
(I could opt to leave both WiFi s on and use both LAN ports for different networks -
I connect outside systems in front of my router/Firewall. But, if anyone does this, DON'T USE LAN 1.
Have you seen any issues like this on your LAN1?
Can you connect a mesh system to this and put it in bridge mode?
What if my router settings page doesn’t have the LAN settings? How can I do it? Cause my settings doesn’t appear as your.
Does anyone even know what you have to do to get the LVSKIHP, I was given the Cube cause that's all the Verizon agent at the store was being told I could get, but I live 1/4 mile from a water tower with the antenna array in a 5G Ultrawideband zone. I can Max out the Cube at 300 so I feel confident I could push the Window Mounted Unit close to a Gig, Id be Happy with 700-800. I really want the 50 Upload speed however and Looks you can only get that with the LVSKIHP.
great vid. people please check your location and how strong 5G is where you live. that'll determine everything. if u don't check that first, you're wasting money
Glad you liked it, thanks.
It’s been over 2 years I have never got Verizon 5G home internet available in my area what a bummer!
It works but 4G LTE is capped at 50 Mbps. We don't have 5G yet. Verizon be slow lol. Cell signal is the same as ATAT. They share the same site and at one mile with direct line of sight they are about 85/90 DB. Same for my ATAT phone so not much to say ho has better signal/Coverage. Now 5G is a lot faster but the range they give you is all over the place but at least 4G LTE I get a good 50 most of the time. I play Xbox Series X and Steam off PC and Twitch Stream at 720 P with 5 Mbps on the upload and it works vary well. The upload is about 6/6.50 so not much room their but it works. Only small issue Verizon has is say on Xbox when looking for game's on Gamepass images don't like to load for some reason and a download may take a bit to start but other then that it's a vary good service. Heck you can even get an open that type on your Xbox because of being able to do port forwarding and DMV the device if you really need to you can turn off the Wi-Fi and use your own Wi-Fi device so I've been told by a lot of people you can't do port forwarding but it's clearly right I mean the UI of the device
I’m mad because I paid for the 1000 mbs plan but they gave me that cube router and thanks to your review I realized they make another router that puts out 1000mbps . Why would they do that?
If I connect my existing Netgear Night Hawk Router to the 5G Verizon device with a wired connection, not sure if that is possible, in any case, do i have to change the passwords on my TV and desk top and laptops i use in the house
BTW great video, love the accent LOL
Not sure what passwords are you talking about ( email? WiFi? Windows? Netflix?)?! But if you're using the same wireless router with the old settings, then even your WiFi password would be the same as before, so you should be fine. Thanks.
Ive had mine for 2 day's now and I'm loving it so so far
Great, thanks for sharing your experience!
Do you by any chance know what kind of power cord it takes. Our dog ate ours
As they put up more 5G towers the speeds are gonna be blazing fast. Where I live we have ultra band 5G and the speeds are RIDICULOUSLY faster than spectrum in my area.
I’m just a casual home owner user. Your video is great. I just got my Verizon box. The tech can only get 4g. He put a ticket in.
I have a tp-
Link mesh unit,( x-20 ), 3 towers. Usually 1 tower tower is the router that is hooked up to my personal Arias Modem. But I now have the Verizon box and I’m going to go into tp link app and set towers as a access point instead, one being a router? Do you think this will work? We don’t game, tv and phones is really all there is. It’s just a weaker signal in the back of the house. What’s your thoughts?
Hi, you can either use your own wireless router as an access point and connect it to the Verizon box, or enable IP passthrough on the Verizon box and connect your own W router as a w router. I would prefer the second one because you get to use all the features of your wireless router, if you use it as an AP, some of it's features will no longer be available. Thanks
You make it sound easy I think the Verizon guy is going to call me back and we’re going to try that. So you’re saying use my TP router the way I am now the first tower be a router. My other way of thinking was if I use the Verizon box with the modem router. The other three towers can be just used to send a signal I don’t do that much. It’s just a TV and a couple phones to me and my wife we’re both in our 60s I’m not gaming I’m not uploading videos just watching TV on Amazon Netflix and Hulu.
Awesome

I had comcast ( need I say more?) (Huge loss in download speed I had 1.2download ) for me, but hardly noticible at all this is good internet id give it 5/5 stars so far!
I notice you didn't talk about the button on back unless I missed it lol what is it
Did your test results via your Asus router happen by only enabling the IP Passthrough on Verizon Gateway or, by modifying some other settings on the Gateway as well such as turning off the DHCP server and enabling the DMZ Host? Please clarify... Thanks
Did you ever get a response I’m trying to do the same
@@dannyreynoso759 He doesn't like to respond most likely for liability reasons...!
I must say 5g Internet surprised the hell out of me.. it's actually good enough.
for 25.00 a month even the less than 100 Mb speed blows my Frontier (old verizon FIOS) with 18 Mb away!
the price lock now is 10 years for both plans. offer expires in january 2023.
How do I connect my tv to the cube to watch local channels?
I am going to make an interesting comment, I live near a Verizon antenna and I have the 5Guw here in my house and it had the largest gateway that should be pointing towards the antenna that device with the $50 plan that I have as a client 25$ the Internet usually exceeds 1500mbs where I had it installed in my room it usually gives more than 1gbs. For reasons that I have moved to Miami Beach, the newest model of Verizon is already available but it is the small box (ARC-XCI55AX) I have ordered it for that new address and now I am using it where the other device used to be the large gateway it gave about 1000mbs and the speed with the (ARC-XCI55AX) with the same plan $25 gives me the speed between at least 200 and almost 400mbs, that is, the small box the problem is that it does not receive the signal in the same way as verizon gateway that uses millimeter waves and of course we must understand that one is larger than the other and its consumption is also higher in electricity. The plan to select does not influence anything. It is the device that causes the limitation.
Wow 1500 Mbps is crazy!! Thanks for sharing :-)
How did you get into those settings for Lan etc mine doesn't show any of those settings it's different
The way I got to those settings is exactly the way you can see in the video! Mine still is the same as the video but some people who very recently got their gateway device have mentioned that their setting layout is different. I can guess that maybe Verizon recently has made some changes in the gateway devices it is shipping now. It's just a guess though. Thanks.
