I have a zephyrus rog which doesn't let me enter the operating system nor does it let me open USB to reinstall, it does detect the USB but when I select it the screen stays black
I just got the M16 2023 model and I do not have the legacy USB Support option! :-( And when I try to install win 11 from an USB the win 11 installer can not see my drives! I made the win 11 installer from MS website !
im going nuts // same issue - up until now it has been either a black screen or a light blue one. Were you able to sort problem out? im trying to install win 11 from ISO after failing a 100 times over with media creation tool. Not I cant even load windows 10. help
I think it's necesary to disable vmd in bios to see the drives, i also have the same issue with no legacy usb support option so i cant figure out if my bios have uefi usb boot enabled or not.
I want to reinstall windows asus tablet and plug in a boot usb drive into the micro port and it sees it, but it keeps going back to the blue bitlocker screen. So if the lock in only on the hard drive , how can i get to it to reinstall windows and clear the lock?
Thank you for the video. I just installed a 2nd M.2 SSD (Samsung 980 Pro 2TB) in the empty 2nd slot. But the GA503 won't recognize the new SSD. ASUS confirmed the system will support a 2TB SSD. Do you know what the setting is in the BIOS that will enable the 2nd SSD to be recognized by the computer? Thanks.
Right click on the start button>> Disk Manager>> open it and the drive will be there marked in black. right click on it and then perform a creat new volume and the system should recognise it.
lol to make a long story short, if youre trying to install win 11 from usb you need to disable legacy usb support and enable secure boot, otherwise you get that stupid comment in setup saying that your machine cannot run win 11 when in fact it can. Its just a setting changes. Thanks again ms for your bs.

On the first ever boot, will the computer ask me if I want armory crate?

Take a closer look to see the screen in greater detail and show from scratch how you enter this BIOS SETUP. Do you use the DEL or F2 button?

Make sure you format the drive otherwise the pc won't recognise it

i hate asus rog laptop bios settings... it has very little options to choose/change... and those uefi settings are not userfriendly
