Looks like the motherboard is the same as on TUF Dash 15, one memory slot and two m.2 storage slots. I also notice the Zephyrus model has a bigger battery and a lot more heatpipes.
that's actually the subwoofer. and the asymmetrical is apparently by design as to reduce chassis vibration. whether that's just marketing or not I'm not sure but the vibration is actually quite minimal.
The only thing I didn't know was how to get rid of the rubber grommets before unscrewing the 3 hidden ones underneath, thanks for leaving out just that! Great vid!

i heard that it came with 2 channel RAM, 8GB soldiered and only the other 8GB can be replaced (by a max of 16GB), so max 24GB memory. It seem to be the case in your video where there is already a ram in the upgrade slot. Can someone confirm?
@@xdanulicious4275 from what i read its dual channel 8GB+8GB one is soldiered, u can only get 8+16 =24 GB. this is unfortunately is a deal-breaker for me as my of my productivity software runs on 32GB minimum. And the 3080 /32GB version was not optimized.

Are there any battery upgrade options available? I came from an M1 MBP, and the battery life on this laptop is abysmal. I'd like to upgrade to at least a 120wh battery if one is available
Hey, we do have one of the Zephyrus G14 from last year. Considering its design, the insides of the new one should be similar to that of the 2020 model. So, if you are interested: ua-cam.com/video/-xYS8U0HbtM/v-deo.html
PSA: as far as I can tell, neither slots accept SATA drives. I put an old one from my old laptop in, didn't work in either slot and wouldn't get detected in the BIOS. And the drive worked when I put it back in my old laptop.

Whats the best way to get the screws out that have rubber covers?
A needle to puncture the rubber and pull them out
I used tweezers to remove the rubber first.
use pins and pry along the edge of that circular rubber pad and pull towards you
Is is true that the motherboard is disposable one? As in, everything just sort of breaks at the slightest touch?
How do I unplug the battery from the motherboard? It seems like mine is glued in there

Not to mention that if you pair an 8GB stick with a 16GB stick you'll be stuck in single-channel mode.
Depends on what model, mine has 16gb on board and I've put a 32gb in the slot and runs perfect.
