I am addicted to June in Good News. She and everyone else and the movie itself are so adorable. I love The Varsity Drag number, I never get tired of watching it.
Good News pulls you in from the very start and is exciting and fun the whole way through.
Somebody please put these legends back on the radio!!!!
GO BACK 2 MEXICO 😵 😵
@Jim Stark YO MOTHER
Just got this movie for Christmas! It's always been one of my favorite Mickey and Judy films, and I love June Allyson, too! I read June's autobiography- she would perform these numbers and then promptly go backstage and "lose her lunch" from nerves. She was just starting out here, but Judy was nice to her from the beginning and they became lifelong friends.
Tammy S., What a wonderful story hearing about Judy's kindness to June. I love watching the time when June appeared on Judy's TV show.
I loved the film so much when I was 18; I was hooked from this opening number Treat Me Rough, right through to I've Got Rhythm at the end. I fell for Mickey!
Apparently there's an even more ancient version of Girl Crazy, dating from 1932?!
He was quite the little stud muffin...and a total dog with women.
SHUT UP, STUPID!
U STUPID, 😵
@@donhulbert1913 GO BACK 2 MEXICO 😵 😵
@@donhulbert1913 It's such a shame he wasn't in The Wizard of Oz; the Munchkins would have made him feel tall!
Mickey juxtaposed dancing with those women makes him look like he's about twelve years old especially when his back is to the audience. LMAO.
YO MOTHER
Love the audience participation! Reminds me of folks in my own family.
June Allyson was so great. I'm glad I got to meet her, but at that time all I could say to her was I liked her number in this film as I hadn't watched any of her other better films yet, lol.
SHUT UP YA SAP 😠 😡
My mother was named after her! Lovely to see this video.
The movie cuts off abruptly but I've always wondered if there was more to this song since June is coming back out
Fruitofthejoot, You actually got to meet June Allyson? Lucky you!😍 She was gorgeous like Judy too. June was so much the girl next door.
S Robin Dittrich yes, she was a sweet person!
First time I've ever seen that! Ha! Fabulously funny! I'm rather not so considerable myself, hightwise, but my woman would never rough me up like that ... I hope!
R.I.P. June Allyson

@@tankjohnson5857 Stop appearing everywhere 😂
Omg how funny was Mickey in this!! Only a short virile man like him could dance with a bevy of tall beauties who rough him up and still look sexy without kissing anyone or removing clothes.
I want to meet june Allyson in heaven in the future.
Love this movie!! One of my favorite Judy films(:
And 9 years later (1953), the music album was released.
Mickey 🥰😍
Mickey rooney is handsome.😍🥰😇💖
This is a great song!!
I relate to this a lot 💀
More proof that this generation didn't invent BDSM, just the cool outfits.
Naw that is the medival era. Half those torture devices inspired sex toys. Victorians made it a profession. The 50’s-60’s made it more mainstream with Betty Page and others. 90’s introduced the fashion aspect.
And thanks to 2020, it’s mainstreamed into a genre.
Hell yeah!
Bdsm back in the day...
Claire 💀

«Girl Crazy», este filme de 1943, com o título em português «Doidinho por Saias», estreou em Portugal, em simultâneo, nos cinemas Trindade e Olympia do Porto, a 6 de Fevereiro de 1945. Nele brilham os incontornáveis, quando jovens, Michey Rooney e Judy Garland, num enredo divertido, cheio de belas canções, música e bailados.

Judy is the best
Mickey was quite the ladies man! This is the period when he was pillowing every girl on the MGM lot.
Didn't Girl Crazy come out in 1943?
! ! ! ! !
Women looked more feminine then and had natural curves
Saxon C now they have penises
@@CMFOT - Holy cow, no wonder I've decided not to date anymore and be celibate! Lesbians or any LGBT people, I support your right to love whomever. As for me, the sight of a woman with a penis in my bedroom would make me run away FAST!!! Now, the right romantic man at the right safe time who takes his time and effort with me might lure me out of my safe celibate cocoon. I've been married once, proposed to three times, and had my lovers in the past...all men with all the right parts and smarts. So I have pleasant memories for pleasure now. No women with penises for me, thank you very much.
Sadly they will be considered Fat in hollywood today, they want you to be as skinny as runaway model
I absolutely loved this movie! This girl June can't sing tho. 😐
what key is this in
Starts in C major, then to E for the Chorus girls' chorus, then back to C for the first wordless dance interlude, then to Eb for Mickey's verse and chorus, then back to C for the second dance interlude and the end of the song.
Do your have lyrics
@aDBo'Ch 1 THANK YOU SUPPORT
I don't think they really mean it.....
Zero people have absolutely no taste in music.
Is this song about BDSM 🤣🤣🤣
