Mickey Rooney and Judy Garland made such great movies together. It’s like a Time Machine back to the 1930s-40s it’s so sad how they were both forced to take performance drugs and Judy was put on strict diets.

Mickey Rooney & his wife Jan were neighbors of my wife's cousin in Westlake
Village, Calif. for years, until just before his death in 2014 & I've been by his home
there! I met & spoke to him in 1981, when he opened his fast-food restaurant
"Mickey Rooney's Wienie World",in Massapequa, NY! At 61, he was as
energetic as ever! He did "his own thing" all his life & still lived to 93! R.I.P. Mick!

Honestly if you took his situation and put it in today's world, some of the women that he was with on the side and people who knew about his other issues would've exposed him. It seems like the dirty info comes from uncontrollable third parties now a days. The internet makes exposing people so easy.

Most beautiful & famous women marry ugly, old or guys with some physical wantings. Why? Because they have money and or/power. Rooney was the biggest star on planet earth before world war 2, he was ridiculously charismatic, smart, rich, powerful, and a decent enough looking guy...certainly much better than guys like Harvey Weinstein and these other Hollywood womanizers. It's sad that alcohol ruined his life tho 😔 It seems like every famous child actors that is around Hollywood their whole lives is damned....Rooney was born in this industry, he really never had a chance. I think criticisms of him are unwarranted....it's kinda amazing he even lived past the 70's.
