Onboard China Eastern's COMAC C919! | Chengdu (TFU) - Shanghai (SHA)

In February 2024, I flew on B-919C, the second COMAC C919 delivered to China Eastern Airlines.
In this video, I am exploring what China Eastern offers on a midday flight from Chengdu Tianfu International Airport (TFU) to Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport (SHA). I also talk a little on the competition aspect of COMAC with Airbus and Boeing in the medium-size jet market and the prospects of the C919 in general.

Air China and China Southern C919 have been seen, you have to try them out and see what they are like, Since your visit EASA have been visiting COMAC doing some more tests.

pretty sure foreign airline will buy Comec. they have already exported other model overseas, i don't see how C919 will be any different. price and availability play a big role, airline don't get buy the best plane, if they do, Boeing would have stop selling 737 and focus on dreamliner. even airforce one isn't buying the newest 747 model... regardless, they won't be buying them now because the delivery queue is already very long... i expect them to have low availability for at least 2 more years.
