If I recall, this is basically a maze with goofy gags. So some buttons will take you forward, some backwards, and some to a different path then you saw before.
PLEASE play more of this, I LOVE these kinds of games. It really feels like a precursor to WarioWare and BishiBashi Special, other favorites of mine. (Also this was the 420th video on my Grumps playlist. It's fate!)

Don't know if that's what Arin was thinking of but it was the first thing to come to my mind. Why one screen, of one episode, of a series I watched 30 yrs ago appeared so vividly to me in the moment is anyone's guess.
The music and the gags and the 1000% commitment to the bit are driving me insane but in the best possible way. I feel like I found a old cartoon mixed in with the VHS tapes at my grandma's house
Game Grumps are really consistent in finding *very* strange old games to play. Don't get me wrong, ToTK was one of their all-timer playthroughs, but bizarre one-offs like this are one of the main reasons I'll be a life-long fan. Also, I hate to say it, but I'd kill for the music from the magic lamp screen. Shit slaps bigtime.
This makes me nostalgic for the point and click games where there are multiple animations for a clickable item, so you keep clicking until you see all the possible animations before moving on with the game.

So glad your finally playing this Amazing comedy game. One of my handful of childhood games on Sega CD. Its kind of a choose your own adventure with branching paths, and you'll often loop back around to same rooms and have to remember what the buttons do to escape the loop.

Had this as a kid. They totally missed out on getting the Mona Lisa one on the first try. Some of the funniest ones there.
