In the first five minutes we have:
    1. Arin acting incredulous that Dan doesn’t know the rules of Clue.
    2. Arin confidently claiming he will be able to teach Dan the rules of Clue as they play.
    3. Arin immediately demonstrating that he does not know the rules of Clue.
Peak Game Grumps. Ten out of ten.

Genuine question, cause I could never play the tabletop, but I played this game a lot. Are the rules different in this SNES game? Because I recall that some things change depending on the difficulty of the games.

What we need is a _10MPH_ of the lads here actually acting in a murder mystery evening. Full costumes, an elaborate setting, and running around being absurd characters. 😂

I remember having this on a 3.5" floppy disc back in the day, but mine was an expanded edition with extra rooms and weapons. I should see if i can get it running again.
Also, does anyone here remember the Clue book series? Each one was a collection of short stories where you had to use clues to rule out suspects to solve them, and in each book the last story had Mr. Boddy being killed. Then in the NEXT book, the preface would be written by Mr. Boddy describing how he ~didn't~ die in the previous book, and what bizarre mixup caused people to think he did. The stories themselves were hilarious, with all the characters having ridiculous personalities based on the game cards (Ms. Scarlet being a socialite floozy who'd dated half the world at some point or another, Prof. Plum being an EXTREMELY absentminded genius whose inventions always caused disasters, etc). I wonder if I could get them digitally, i wouldnt mind reading them again.

SO THE THING ABOUT SNES CLUE...
    It doesn't play like clue.
In standard clue, you make a guess (weapon-person-location) and then you go around the table, person by person, until someone has one of the cards you suggested. They show it to you (or one of them, if they have multiple) and then your turn is done.
SNES CLUE IS NOT LIKE THAT.
In SNES CLUE, the game creates a scenario. At the time of the murder, everyone was in a place, every weapon was in a place. Some rooms were empty, Some just had a murder weapon and nobody in it, some rooms had a person with a murder weapon, some had a person and a murder weapon in it but were innocent, and one has a person, a murder weapon, and a murder.
Your goal is to figure out who was where and had what weapon. If you make a correct suggestion, someone will either pipe up that "they have proof that X was innocent" or it will tell you that was a very interesting scenario.

I’m a little surprised that my fellow 80s Child Danny didn’t seem to know about the awesome 1985 movie that was based on the original board game.
Clue has an absolutely stellar cast:
      Tim Curry: Wadsworth (The Butler)
      Lesley Ann Warren: Miss Scarlet
      Christopher Lloyd: Professor Plum
      Madeline Khan: Mrs. White
      Martin Mull: Colonel Mustard
      Eileen Brennan: Mrs. Peacock
      Michael McKean: Mr. Green
Also Colleen Camp as Yvette and Lee Ving as Mr. Body (though Lee James Jude Capallero is his full name).
I highly recommend this comedy to anyone who hasn’t seen it! When Clue was on the big screen, its infamous “Three Endings” were actually filmed randomly, one per viewing, so that patrons saw a completely different ending depending on what time, and which theater, they saw the movie!
