“Patch Adams” is sort of a controversial film, seeing that the actual Patch Adams didn’t really appreciate it. The real Patch Adams isnt just a “funny doctor,” he is an activist and fundraiser for free or affordable medical care and travels the world for this reason.
Also, the scene where he brought kids that were on chemo into a courtroom was messed up. They could die from touching a doorknob, you quack!
As someone that hates pseudoscience and alternative medicine I'm glad his shit is struggling. That has no place in modern medicine.
