I worked in a factory about nine months. It was easily the worst job I ever had. Some people are suited to it, though! I faced a wall 8 hours a day and didn't move from one spot except for breaks and lunch. But some guys had been at this same job 30 years, they didn't mind. God bless 'em.

Those who watch this video please understand that what is done in the video is indeed terrible but this is the best and fastest way for food to be processed in order to provide food to the large human population on earth. We cannot make all humans on earth vegetarian. The human population is large and they need balanced nutrition (meat, vegetables, fruit, etc.) but there are still many people out there who lack nutrition.
Conclusion DON'T ever waste your food.

Yes, it's profitable. Think about how much a whole chicken costs from your local shop, at least something like £4. Distribution and retail margins aside that's still going to be a couple quid per chicken, and the labour costs have been kept to a minimum through the use of machines.
Canned products basically all undergo the same process, the can is heated and sealed. This kills bacteria and micro-organisms. Just look up any video on how tinning works and you'll get the gist of it.

Love your videos! They are very informative. However, on this one at the 3:35 mark, the chickens go into cold water. The giant metal tank with a cork screw is called a chiller and is used to lower the temperature of the meat for longevity. PAA (Peracetic Acid) is used to kill micro bacteria near the end of the processing.

Chickens do not have fur they have feathers. Also dirt does not get inside of the chicken cavity only parts from its innards.
