Yeah, I can’t blame you for your rage, Trevor. All Engines Go made me think the HIT Era, Nitrogen, and BWBA episodes are masterpieces, and that’s saying something, since the Classic Era and Brenner Era are masterpieces. Most franchises don’t need reboots and remakes.

Just shows that they don't care about Edward and Henry 2 of the original characters from the RWS and want us to forget them

The only bad things about AEG are Edward being an 6-6-0 (WHICH IS FREAKING ABSURD) and Harold having a grey face.
Okay, the second one I understand, but Edward was always a 6-6-0, even going back as far as the railway series.

AEG feels like a spin off series,They should've kept the CGI series going and had AEG running at the same time then It could make everyone happy maybe,They have enough money to do both right?
As I can agree with the Unlucky Tug, this reboot makes BWBA look like the Railway Series in comparison.
I swear a lot of other British TV shows have had overwhelmingly drastic changes since the classics! Fireman Sam, Bob the Builder, Postman Pat, Noddy, Brum, *you name them!* It's also worth mentioning the irony when you think about how Bob the Builder and Thomas the Tank Engine have gotten reboots that were originally meant to be the complete opposite of their logic! Bob the Builder from unrealistic to realistic, Thomas from realistic to unrealistic! 🙁
As for Mattel, the early 2020s for Thomas seems to be one of the worst if not the worst era of the entire franchise, especially considering how what they did to us autistic people in 2023! 😠

At least Teletubbies had some changes that weren't really horrible. I mean, the reason why they got rid of Magical Events is understandable. And I do think the Tubby Phone and the Tubby Custard Ride are actually pretty cool.
Imagine an alternate universe where the staff of the Bob the Builder reboot worked on Season 25 of Thomas and Friends, and the staff of All Engines Go worked on a 2D animated Bob the Builder reboot. Would you like to live in this universe?

4:51 The main reason why it got canceled was because not that many kids were watching the show as they use to and the writing didn't felt like Seasons 1 to 7 and 17 to 20 which cause it get canceled back in 2021 but with Mattel they didn't want to end the Thomas brand yet due how famous it is by the fans which why we got until 2025 for the 80th anniversary

Thomas the Tank Engine Series was one of my oldest childhood memories and since then I love both the models and the CGI. It's a shame that the CGI Thomas and Friends series has coming to the end because I would to see continuing visiting other countries a bit more as he hasn't have a chance to visit American, Germany, France, Mexico, Berlin, and Japan as well as meeting the other engines featuring in "Thomas and Friends The Great Race" like Vinnie, Frieda, Axel, Ivan, Etienne and Carlos. But sadly it's not going to happen now no thanks to Mattel.
I remember being speechless when I saw the original teaser image.
I was just like "What the f**k? They massacred our boy Thomas."
Also the 2D animation is cheaper than cgi nowadays and this happened years ago with fans complaining about the switch to cgi BUT CGI STICKED TO THE SOURCE AND CHARM!!!!!! (Except for the bad miller era episodes which look good compared to all engines go)
I also don’t like how Henry was portrayed
sometimes 3d and cgi animation is cheap
If Wilbert Audrey saw this he would sue Mattel

Surprised this show hasn't been cancelled yet which I feel like it maybe would bc the Bob The Builder reboot got cancelled after 3 seasons. I literally just don't care for this show and I tried watching the first episode but quit after 6 minutes bc I just couldn't take it. But here are some good things about it:
-Neil Crone reprising his role as Gordon
-James' voice

I would rather torture myself with the Hit and Miller eras than watch this. Mattel is only good at making toys and I guess movies bc the Barbie movie did well also they'll probably ruin Barney next just like Bob and now Thomas.

I know how many Thomas fans like Me, You, and many other fans feel about this reboot! And we're like Boo! Boo! Mattel! Thomas is supposed to be an engine who is cheeky but does his best to make up for it. But this reboot takes it up to a different level. And I'm sure Me and many Thomas fans when Thomas called Edward and Henry: "Trains". They're like Thomas! How can you forget who they are!?! But I think you made your point clear about All Engines Go. Great Job!

This series the BANE of my childhood cuz it ruined everything that came before it. Seriously, I've watched since it was syndicated here in the States under Shining Time Station and by God I'd still rather have BWBA cuz at least most of the time it was still grounded in reality

Why can’t they make Edward as Thomas father figure instead of Gordon in this mindless show! I like Gordon and Thomas but as brothers to each other, not in father-son relationship!
And Sandy is most least favorite, not only that she doesn’t get the introduction as same as Kana, but she doesn’t look or feel like an engine to me!

When I saw the trailer for season 3 and saw Winston. I really didn’t care. Even when I saw excited comments on UA-cam. Personally I think that was done for fan service. And if we’ve learned anything from that stupid dragon episode, Mattel will disrespect old Characters (Thomas called Edward and Henry “Those Trains”, That pissed me off. It is the equivalant of saying “F**k you” to two of Awdry’s first three) even when they brought Bulstrode back, he was horrendisly out of character
Edit: I think a better title for the dragon episode would be “We have Thomas, Percy and the dragon at home”

I agree with a lot of the points in this video.
It would be great if we had Mattel bring back cgi and re-restore the first three season and put them on blu-ray because hit entertainment did a bad job editing the rushes and kept in bloopers by accident and didn’t crop it well because you can see studio equipment, end of sets , hands , etc. It would also be great to see old characters like boco and duke in cgi. I also wish the first 5 seasons soundtrack was released. I do appreciate the recreations by people like sudrainafro and aceoftrains but nothing captures the originals by mike and junior. Nuff said!

and there's nothing we can do about it.
All Engines Go has no right to even be part of the Thomas and Friends franchise in any way, shape, or form the Thomas and friends logo should be taken away.
While I'm not a fan of all the swearing in this video, I do agree on how bad the show is. I haven't even watched the show at all, nor will I. I'm still hoping for a return to the _actual_ series we all know and love.
I'm pretty sure Wilbert Awdry and David Mitton would be turning in their graves over this.

My biggest problem with the reboot and that makes it very different is that the troublesome trucks aren't chuckelsome kids instead there adults plus why the f*cking hell is diesel now at tidmouth sheds he should be at the dieselworks and he's basically freinds with thomas and why is sir topham hatt now a manager and gordon is the new controller

They ruined Bob the builder, they ruined rescue heroes and they ruined Monster High and when they were doing very good with Thomas, they then decided to ruin Thomas as well. Mattel please just go back to being only a toy company because you guys have proved that you guys can’t handle franchises well.

As much I completely disapproval for the ‘REBOOT’ series. There are “SOME” things that I liked about it (besides) the whole 2D series. Despite (my bad) or good critics.
First, as an autism person, The characters I adored to this moment was Bruno itself, despite my spoilers that he’s autism like me, sadly Mattel was rejected to associated with the Autistic Community with disabilities, and my honest reaction to the news, the fact it’s really pisses me off, same with the audience of Thomas fans. Because is this, did you known the Number of Bruno is “1943” was originally where autism was first introduced at the time. And of course I love his personality, his basis, and probably his an American caboose that nobody knows.
Second, When the voice actor of Gordon was soon casting, my thoughts was jawdropping for the first time a man revealed to voice it, It was “NEIL-FUCKING-CRONE!” after years his first appearance from the Thomas and the Magic Railroad. For this, he somehow to notices the news and decided to make a comeback. sure Gordon is sounded like a fatherly figure to Thomas and the other engines, in my opinion Thomas and Gordon may have acted like rivalries from the early years, but as now they became fallen in alliances. With that. They should had fixed it for god sakes.
Third of all, I do like the return appearance of Harold, Terrence, Bulstrode, Toby and Cranky at first, but the personality tho, I don’t blame the actors who terribly acted like it from a real TV show.

Oh yeah! About Sandy?- well as much as I never EVER HEARD of a Speeder been appeared on the UK Railway, even though she wasn’t at a related as Winston the Inspector car-or-wheels?
In fact, I’m out of thoughts that I hate regardless to that 2D embarrassment show, but there are some things at first good at the beginning. So with that. I extremely respect those who hated that show. Same as you, Trevor. That’s is all I got to say about my statement.
