Here’s a BIG correction: I got a complaint by a fan that I didn’t elaborate more on the Proud Family reboot, and that I didn’t judge it fairly. So here are my further thoughts: 1. Race-swapping and gender bending have nothing to do with the show. I only brought them up as an example of a woke mindset. And they’re two of my biggest pet peeves of this generation. 2. There was a scene in another episode where Penny was twerking, and I find that disgusting 🤢. I know it’s technically puberty, but still, you should never do something like that in a kids’ show. 3. I also hated how Oscar was treated in both shows. Like being tortured like Squidward and all that. So all-in-all, I still stand by my opinion that the Proud Family: Louder and Prouder is just political garbage. The original show was better and a lot funnier, and that the characters were more likable back then compared to now.

I'd have to agree with you on the CGi reboots for Muppet Babies and Rugrats; they're both very different from their original counterparts and there are some changes that people aren't particularly fond of, but they're not the worst reboots ever and there are definitely much worse ones. Besides, each of those reboots have redeeming qualities; The Muppet Babies reboot gave us toddler versions of Muppet characters that weren't in the original 1984 series such as Rizzo the Rat, Sweetums, the Swedish Chef, and Sam the Eagle, and the Rugrats reboot had the actresses for Tommy, Chuckie, Phil, Lil, Angelica, Susie, and Dil reprise their roles from the original 1991 series (for the adults, one of the main reasons why they have new voice actors is because some of the original actors from the 1991 series are either retired or deceased). Both series also have numerous references to their original series.

It's so ironic how Thomas the Tank Engine was switched from a realistic British design to an American cartoonish environment that Wilbert Awdry didn't want in the first place. Similar thing applies to Bob the Builder. Also, I could compare Scoop from the 2015 reboot with Skarloey from the HIT eras. Two mature characters who have downgraded into childish idiots. (But at least Skarloey retained his personality in 2012) Finally, when I saw Bob the Builder 2015, I was questioning myself on why the characters got an unnecessary redesign. I still prefer the old Bob the Builder because it's way more charming and more nostalgic.
This also applies to Fireman Sam, as the show now has a 16th season, and it now looks like an Americanized toy commercial that has lost its British and Welsh roots.
@@Vbivo4421-no5od The moral of this story is Don’t trust American Corporations with shows that are set anywhere in Britain whether it would be England , Wales , Ireland , Yorkshire wherever
If people are going to get so upset over a black Ariel in the remake of The Little Mermaid, how come a Hispanic, Asian and Island Pacific Ariel from other productions get a free pass? Also, is no one going to mention how in the live production of The Little Mermaid from 2019 on ABC, we got a black Ursula in the form of Queen Latifah?! And that she and Auli‘i Cravalho as Ariel were noted as being the best things from that production?
4:15 The closest we ever got in the original series was the episode where that Muslim family moved in and the whole town hates them for being immigrants and the episode points out how wrong it is
An interesting top video of worst reboots like I said before I remember watching a little bit on the Bob the builder reboot. However I do remember the original Bob the builder series back in the day. I remember seeing Brum End a few credits remix videos before seeing the actual episodes in good amount of footage and somehow never got across with the other reboots the other CG and the other 2D I remember hearing and watching a little bit on the muppet babies 2018 and it was enjoyable when one our Baby cousin are watching some programs on Disney junior. I enjoyed the regrets revival and I don't mind of how the CGI really is and to tell you the truth Dill and Kimi Did appear in the reboot either change their size at least a little bit or reintroduce. I cannot believe long be saying this but I'll keep things civil as possible I love barney the dinosaur one of my Childhood memories I've seen the series as well as the home video series the backyard gang And Every thing else When I did here about Barney having an animated series. I was quite looking forward to it even Reading the article about it as well as a few teaser posters I know that's some people in the Barney community are mixed but Just like the rest of us we're giving it an honest chance. The Ben 10 reboot is pretty good and enjoyable I also saw the original series as well as different other series following it. I have seen a few of the CGI Caillou Specials and one of them are either decent or somewhat enjoyable and for the magic school bus rides again I enjoyed it when it first came out back in 2018 and I'm gonna be honest with you I do like the remix of the theme song and if you ask yes I have seen the original series at school at times even on a few occasions on Netflix. Overall I will be respectful and be civil of your opinion.
For me, Magic School Bus Rides Again is Speed 2: Cruise Control. What I don't like about it is that they replaced Phoebe Terese with the Indian Girl and Phoebe is my most favourite character.
@@TrevortheTrainFan Well I've seen people saying it's a good iteration of the TMNT and I've seen people wanting to bring it back with the tag #SaveROTTMNT, So I personally think it's a good reboot
I can agree, that brum reboots are awful! But they had potential to be good, but we’re ruined by the writing or the animation, so yeah, the original is definitely better.
8:05 What I don't get about the Rugrats reboot was why they Changed Betty's sexual orientation as i feel like tv executives think a heavey set Tomboyish woman shouldn't be straight in to days world Which is wrong because there are so many women who are straight who fit Betty's description plus i find hard to think where Phil and Lil came from when Howard apparently doesn't exist in the reboot
I agree Trevor CGI Fireman Sam still has a lot of potential to be good. In fact that potential has already been used since Norman Price became more well-behaved in Series 13 and the animation improved in Series 11 and I grew up with CGI Fireman Sam so I love it.
I miss that dub so much! I know it's not as good as the VizMedia dub in terms of adding in more important plot points and consistency, but I still consider it nostalgic.
3:21 Another episode I really dislike was the episode where Bebe is diagnosed with Autism and throughout the episode Oscar is refusing to admit he's different Like I know Oscar isn't the smartest character and is not the most politically correct person either as he hates boys he's a cheapskate and sexist Considering he takes his wife for granted but still most parents are very supportive when they find out their child has a neurological disability (if you can call it a disability as it differs) but as a man with Autism my parents told me they Have been supportive of me since day one of finding out my diagnosis and yeah i think you get my point
Now they are making a Gumby reboot, and it's going to be 2D animated instead of stop motion clay, and there's also an adult Gumby show in the works. Yeah, I have a bad feeling about it.
@TrevortheTrainFan The fact that it's 2D animation and not stop motion clay for the kids' version is already dropping the ball, and I'm already dreading on how bad the adult version is going to be.
I used to watch The Magic School Bus during my homeschool. I’ve never seen the reboot, but I’ve heard it’s pretty bad. Can you show me some scene just to prove it to me?
One reboot that isn't my cup of tea is The Smurfs (2021). It may be accurate to the comics (considering it's a Belgian production), but there are some things I didn't like in the reboot. One is Grouchy saying "Me, I don't like..." rather than "I hate..." like in the 80s cartoon. Another is the voice acting, which is subpar compared to both the 80s cartoon and The Lost Village. But the one thing I liked in the reboot is the CG animation.
I'll respect your opinion on The Smurfs (2021), I personally thought it was very cute, fun, adventurous, entertaining, and pretty good show as it's own & a good reboot to the Smurfs franchise, but you couldn't get into it, then that's completely fine, like I said, I'll respect your opinion on it, but for me, I love it just as much as the original 80s cartoon & the movies from Sony Pictures Animation, & I can't wait to see what Nickelodeon & Paramount will do with this franchise since they are making multiple movies for the series as well as an animated Musical film coming in 2025 (which I'm also looking forward to seeing as well). Oh, and the Smurfs in the 2021 show are just........................SO............CUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUTE with their huge adorable faces, innocent personalities, and being really friendly & it just makes me wanna give these little blue creatures a big sweet hug 😊☺️😚😘🥰😍🤩🫶🤗🫂🩵💙.
3:12 That is not true Also, that episode is also wrong considering the show. Supposedly takes place in California which never had slaves not only that but why would the ghost of a black slave have a diary When things like that would have been confiscated in reality and not only that , but a lot of those slaves never would have possessed such an item due to being illiterate I'm not being racist i'm just pointing out a fact
Also Black people owned slaves here in the USA, and as Thomas Sowell pointed out Africans sold other Africans into slavery in the first place. It was not based off of race.
@@TrevortheTrainFanI remember seeing blues clues and you back in 2019 and I enjoyed it because of the grand return to form And I had been watching really great episodes of the show for the most part even the movie blues big city adventure.
Well I’m an afraid there's going to be another Magic School Bus reboot, but it's worse than the Netflix series and that it's going to completely destroy and ruin the original source material.
While I do have problems with the Garfield Show: I know that Garfield likes food, but he won’t shut up about food and he is a selfish jerk in some episodes. Jon is also more stupid and immediateIy accuses Garfield and Odie for everything, and I just hate Nermal in that show. The CGI also could have been better, although I don’t think it’s as bad as people say it is. With that said, I did like some episodes, like the Non-Garfield Show. I think that episode was ahead of it’s time because of how relevant AI is now, and the part where Garfield was being voiced by a celebrity also aged well since he’s gonna be voiced by Chris Pratt in the upcoming movie, although he was already voiced by Bill Murray.
I actually didn't know that the CGI version of Muppet Babies had a predecessor until I watched this video, but the original looks better in my opinion.
To be honest, if the original characters of Bob, the builder came and fix the reboot, then we might be happy with BTB reboot and that annoying Scoop would turn into the scoop, we know like for example Bob laughs and leaves scoop to keep an eye, then Scoop does a good job, and more other good things then Bob comes back to see the team normal I’m just saying how it works if the old creators came back other things that is good, may happen when they come back on the reboot
I respect your opinion about the Proud Family louder and prouder but bring me back memories from the original one at the early 2000s from my childhood. P.S. I agree with you about the rebooted Magic School bus cause it’s not the same from the 90s and I refuse to watch it so I’m still sticking with the 90s Magic School Bus, it brings me back memories also my childhood every other science classes at school even on Ready Set Learn, TLC, and Discovery Kids aka Hub aka again Discovery Family
@@Vbivo4421-no5od Nope, but I still think the first 5 seasons were overall good when it came to writing. But the CGI series, on the other hand, is a guilty pleasure for me because of certain voices for certain characters.
I'm with you on not watching the little mermaid reboot as well. I know it will be a failure. I'm not racist, but if you're trying to appeal to the black community, THEN DON'T MAKE THIS REBOOT DISNEY!
For me some of these do have good moments here and there but I do agree on the Brum reboots ruining the franchise and much prefer the original series alongside other Ragdoll shows.
Suggestion: Since you know what is The Loud House from a mention in your video on the top 10 reasons you hate All engines go, could you do a video on the loud house?
Another bad reboot for me would have to be George of the Jungle Season 2 from 2015. First, Ursula and Magnolia get their names swapped along with Dr. Towel Scott who goes by Dr. Chicago now. He is also a villain now with a boring sidekick named Cuspid, a living tooth. Second, the redesigns of George and "Ursula"(Magnolia from Season 1) are terrible, they look bland and wrong. Also, the voice acting is off and the jokes aren't even funny. The plots don't make any sense and it has nothing to do with Season 1 at all. There are also a lot of bland and filler characters too who are forgettable. And just like PPG 2016, it can't decide whether it's a reboot or continuation.
I actually think Pony Life is ok. It's not as bad as All Engines Go because it's only a temporary thing, but it's still not as good as the original G4.
Older Bob the Builder, can he fix it? Older Bob the builder, yes he can! 12-year looking Bob the Builder, can he fix it? 12-year looking Bob the Builder, no he can’t! Old classic machines from old classic Bob the Builder, can they build it? Yes they can! Too realistic looking and stupid machines of the Bob the Builder reboot, can they fix it? It's so ironic how Thomas the Tank Engine was switched from a realistic British design to an American cartoonish environment that Wilbert Awdry didn't want in the first place. Similar thing applies to Bob the Builder.
Also, I could compare Scoop from the 2015 reboot with Skarloey from the HIT eras. Two mature characters who have downgraded into childish idiots.
(But at least Skarloey retained his personality in 2012)
Finally, when I saw Bob the Builder 2015, I was questioning myself on why the characters got an unnecessary redesign.
At least we can all agree Ducktales 2017 is a Phenomenal reboot.
Agreed!
@@TrevortheTrainFanThoughts on Clifford the Big Red Dog 2019 as well as the 2021 film, Rocky and Bullwinkle 2018, or Wacky Races 2017?
Bruh when you mentioned “A poop rap song” I was like WTF that sounds like TTG would release
0:30 They many are good reboots?
Well, there ARE some good reboots out there like DuckTales 2017 and MLP (G4), just to name a few.
I cannot believe long be saying this but I'll keep things civil as possible I love barney the dinosaur one of my Childhood memories I've seen the series as well as the home video series the backyard gang And
Every thing else When I did here about Barney having an animated series.
What is your opinion on Rise of the TMNT?
I haven’t seen it.
@@TrevortheTrainFan Well I've seen people saying it's a good iteration of the TMNT and I've seen people wanting to bring it back with the tag #SaveROTTMNT, So I personally think it's a good reboot
I can agree, that brum reboots are awful! But they had potential to be good, but we’re ruined by the writing or the animation, so yeah, the original is definitely better.
let's all be Honest, Reboots are never Better than the Original.
I wouldn't say that about all reboots.
What about DuckTales 2017
Fair enough.@@jayfray1235
3:21 exactly Abraham Lincoln was probably the most compassionate towards the African American community
3:37 I couldn't agree more
8:05 What I don't get about the Rugrats reboot was why they Changed Betty's sexual orientation as i feel like tv executives think a heavey set Tomboyish woman shouldn't be straight in to days world Which is wrong because there are so many women who are straight who fit Betty's description plus i find hard to think where Phil and Lil came from when Howard apparently doesn't exist in the reboot
I can see that James a Williams was a big inspiration towards you and this video.
I agree Trevor CGI Fireman Sam still has a lot of potential to be good. In fact that potential has already been used since Norman Price became more well-behaved in Series 13 and the animation improved in Series 11 and I grew up with CGI Fireman Sam so I love it.
Request: A Top 5 Or 10 Good Reboots Video?
I'll get to that eventually, I promise.
Hey Trevor, can you do a video on your thoughts on the DiC dub of Sailor Moon?
I agree. The Magic School Bus reboot is a dumpster fire
Me ...
THIS IS HORRIBLE
Now they are making a Gumby reboot, and it's going to be 2D animated instead of stop motion clay, and there's also an adult Gumby show in the works. Yeah, I have a bad feeling about it.
To quote Baymax from Big Hero 6:
“Oh no.” 😮
@TrevortheTrainFan The fact that it's 2D animation and not stop motion clay for the kids' version is already dropping the ball, and I'm already dreading on how bad the adult version is going to be.
I used to watch The Magic School Bus during my homeschool. I’ve never seen the reboot, but I’ve heard it’s pretty bad. Can you show me some scene just to prove it to me?
I would love to, but I’m too scared to be copyrighted for it. Otherwise, I won’t be able to monetize the video.

I corrected my mistakes in the follow up video.
@@TrevortheTrainFan i meant its wrong for them to say slaves built America when they didn't
@@williampulfer-melville8536 I knew that!!
Also Black people owned slaves here in the USA, and as Thomas Sowell pointed out Africans sold other Africans into slavery in the first place. It was not based off of race.
What do you think of Blue’s clues And You?
I don’t think it’s as bad as what most people make it out to be.
@@TrevortheTrainFanI remember seeing blues clues and you back in 2019 and I enjoyed it because of the grand return to form And I had been watching really great episodes of the show for the most part even the movie blues big city adventure.

Hey trvor davis can you do a video of why do you hate teen titans go from 2013
Well I’m an afraid there's going to be another Magic School Bus reboot, but it's worse than the Netflix series and that it's going to completely destroy and ruin the original source material.
@@Twatkins2006 I’m scared 😱 now!!!
Arnold often says I knew I should have stayed home today.
That’s why Arnold was my favorite character in the original series. I’d like to stay home from school every day as well, but that’s impossible.

4:48 James A williams reference
I actually didn't know that the CGI version of Muppet Babies had a predecessor until I watched this video, but the original looks better in my opinion.
I actually gave brum a reboot last year with the name
Lightning McQueen
To be honest, if the original characters of Bob, the builder came and fix the reboot, then we might be happy with BTB reboot and that annoying Scoop would turn into the scoop, we know like for example Bob laughs and leaves scoop to keep an eye, then Scoop does a good job, and more other good things then Bob comes back to see the team normal
I’m just saying how it works if the old creators came back other things that is good, may happen when they come back on the reboot
8:59 WHY DID I LIKE ADVENTURERS OF KID DANGER AS A KID!!! 😫
I know the feeling. In fact, I used to enjoy Mega Babies when I was younger, but looking back at it now, it's WORSE than I remember.

I don’t like it. But that doesn’t mean I am racist or sexist.
What’s your opinion on CGI Fireman Sam?
It’s a guilty pleasure, but it’s not as good as the first 5 seasons in terms of writing.
@@TrevortheTrainFanWell, you didn't watch Fireman Sam when you were little, right?
@@Vbivo4421-no5od Nope, but I still think the first 5 seasons were overall good when it came to writing. But the CGI series, on the other hand, is a guilty pleasure for me because of certain voices for certain characters.
@TrevortheTrainFan well there is actually a US dub of the CGI series that were for series 6-11 and the US voice are less annoying

I thought it was great! 👍
Hey there Trevor my adorable pony friend! You had a great week so far I hope.
It was rough due to the moving, but it will get better in the end.
What are your thoughts on the Johnny Test reboot?
I honestly don’t care for Johnny Test.
Suggestion: Since you know what is The Loud House from a mention in your video on the top 10 reasons you hate All engines go, could you do a video on the loud house?
I don’t know much about that show.
There some other Reboots i hate such as Caillou CGI reboot,Barney CGI reboot,Rugrats CGI reboot and The Magic School Bus Rides Again
