If the screws don't fit in the holes, it is because the metal part inside slid away. To get it back in its origin position, incline the scooter on the left so it slides on the left side, then put a pin in the small hole that you can see at 0:24 and tilt the scooter on the right.

When my stand broke I removed it while waiting for the replacement. Once the replacement arrived I was not aware of the aluminum bar that slides around inside. Thank you, this task was kicking my ass until I understood the issue. Just slid it into place.

How do I get the plate with the holes for the screws back in position?
I wanted to set the stand higher for 10 "tires and did not consider that this plate can slip.
    any chance?

you have to tilt the unit and wiggle it. It's not too hard but yea it''s a bit of a pain.

@@arkaneinc It does not move, I saw next to the screws of the stand two others, what are they for?
Front at the other end The bottom are 2 other screws,
I'll try to go in there with a metal wire, maybe I'll at least get out where it's stuck: /
Go shopping is crap without a stand ^ ^

Bergwacht out of the 100’s of kickstands i’ve ever replaced hitting the deck and moving the scooter/ tilting it has always worked if the little plate ever moved out of the way.
The other two screws have nothing to do with the kickstand part.
The metal plate basically can travel the whole length of the board but it cant go anywhere else so tilting it extremely you’ll hear it hit the board and just figuring it out will work. It’s hard to explain but it’s a 2-3 min jon regardless
