Put being an acolyte aside... there's literally no one and I mean no one in the whole entire internet universe that makes quality tutorials like Daniel Madison... I've looked and looked... it's what brought me to him in the first place, buts it's honestly crazy if you think about it.... fanx Maddy for putting in the work... anybody else trying to do the same should be ashamed of themselves...🖖✌️🖤

It's a delight to watch your lectures. Almost as being right there in a personal setting. Giving out so much knowhow that have taken yourself mindcraft , experiments and practice to a degree the novice's cann't imagine, feels as a personal gift, Daniel. Thank you.
It could be fun to see how many different methods for catching a card in this way "one" could come up with.? I could suggest magician dropping the cards over spectators hand in a moving fasion for a start letting her 😀 doing "the catching". In one to five instances it might succeed. Miracle. As it does not, magician shows how to, using own muscle memory skills as you have. After showing off the catch it could be repeated catching the card between the fingers, where there is NO card this time. Then in the split of time with the hand locked in position, producing it from any (preferred) "palm" position, with patter to go with it.😂 To that end I regard you David Madison legendary. Greetings

It feels like after you did the ASD video, you have given yourself more room to breathe... This is another gem and the level of detail in your explanations, even allowing the student to learn from your mistakes, is unbelievable. Very well done! Respect!

I can't believe the Passion you have for the craft without burning out of your thinking. You are a blessing to the sleight of hand community. One of my bucket list things are to get one of your used decks. You helped keep me sober and wish I could afford all your decks/classes/books. Single father who doesn't have money to spare for interest sucks. Love you bro.

Well I learnt a method quite a time ago.... steal the card in a right hand pinky steal or the side palm.... and dribble with the left hand, and produce the card during the dribble....
I believe this idea of grabbing a card from the middle of the deck happens to be a fantastic plot.... and looks like I got 2 new methods for the same.... versions 2.0 and 3.1( the jogged version) are truely great ...
    Mad Respect, Fanx

You continue to share completely epic skills and moves!
As others have mentioned, the only sad thing about you getting a wider audience and nore viewers, is it makes it feel like the secret source I've had for all these years is less secret.
But much like your favorite niche band that becomes more widely known, it's a good problem to have.
Mad love and i look forward to continuing following along into the future!

Id rather do it by changing selections than with duplicate. Thats actually how I did this effect for the longest time, also pseudo plucking.
Change it by whatever mean necessary, also good to leave the changed card as decoy sticking out so you allready steal the selection while they still apparently see it, thats allways good, than clean push inside and also sometimes giving them to shuffle, than go into plucking also by whatever mean necessary, weather tenkai, different clips, or full classic palm after the casual hand wash to suggest empty hands in a subtle way.
I also did simnilar to you dead cutting aces by tenkai, alttrough I did it with selection only, giving them to shuffle and dead cut in diagonal by leaving the selection on top of the cut in same time sonetimes even by asking them weather they think card is in the middle, or should I cut near the top etc.

My half ass version - practice catching exactly the 26th card over and over until you have the muscle memory to be close. Pencil mark a card on two opposite corners. You will see it easily but no one else will. Force the marked card and get it to the top however you want, then cut the cards in half and it is at 26. Dribble and try to get the 26th card. If you grab 3 or 4 cards that''s totally fine, because you will see the mark right away and drop the other ones, leaving you with the selection. No duplicates, no clean up.

  • @mbcx9ts2
    @mbcx9ts2 11 місяців тому

Method 1 is very cleaver and you could always have a second attempt to grab the card because dribbling doesn't change the order of the cards.

When Penn and Teler had their discussion, they said that he just did exactly that. There was no trick and he just practiced . Kosta agreed so he didn't win the fooler. Now I have seen the way you do it, I wonder if he uses your method but wouldn't admit it.😂

What I did: from the first “real” method, You can also have a partner grab the card and just time it right. You can get consistent results when your partner knows how to grab a single card while cards are dribbled.
