Here's a funny consideration about the small chop cup fitting inside a larger. Without spoiling anything, my smaller cup is compelled to evacuate when placed inside the larger cup. Something to take into consideration as that particular placement is gonna be totally random upon construction of the gimmick.
I own the same leather cup, brown version, and luckily my original ball is good enough. I also own the small ickle pickle cup, but I never thought of combining the two cups - that's a nice idea, so thanks a lot! And I own the large ickle pickle cup which is big enough to hold a full size 7.5 cm baseball. I found some very cheap ones with nothing printed on them that look exactly like the Smetsers balls, but the size difference is really baffling. As a gag I use a ball pump to pretend to very quickly pump up the small ball through the cup.
Hey, sorry I came in late. I will definitely be watching the replay. What an amazing back to school week! I will definitely be using some of the coin palms in busking for sure. Speaking of busking, I am taking the stripper deck out for the first time this weekend. Have a blessed weekend! And see you next week!
I have the tcc leather chop cup balls that were included and they work fine but the problem is the magnet is a cylinder, therefor only works on certain sides
Nice vid. Very informative. I have a set of those Legend copper cups I bought from you. I just realized that I would happily have paid an extra upcharge for one, or better yet all three of those cups to be gimmicked like this. The complexities of Cups and Balls routines exponentially higher number of routines I could do would offset almost any additional cost.
When I first saw that short, I was not shure if my amazement was stronger, or my entertainment :) I think you shouldn't have explained the routine after you explained all the steps and mechanics you need for it. And big thanks for that as well
I've been waiting for this video for a while...I feel like you made this one just for me Doug, thanks so much for sharing this...I haven't watched yet but I know it's gold!
@@DougConn certainly, always do. Wish I wasn't working all the time so I could hang out with y'all live every now and again. Thanks again...I love the mini cup load by the way, I've never seen that and it's genius.
Thanks so much for posting this Doug! I just subscribed to your channel ! Great video. The chop cup is one of my favourite close up effects. I have the Leo smetsers stainless steel mini chop cup with his monkey fist balls. Your video has gave me a lot of ideas ! Thanks!
Damn, Don Alan is fantastic. I had to watch it a dozen times before I figured out how he was loading the big balls. I still can't figure out how he loaded the tiny ones. Haven't watched your tutorial yet. I may skip it to enjoy the mystery!
Happy really belated birthday! Love your vids, (including your busking vids) I have various chop cups, the TCC, Axel Hecklau's Just a Cup, Adam Wilber's Cups and Beans.. the hardest thing was coming up with a final load that would be unique, which might still not be.... Keep up the great work!
Awesome Routine. Hello Don. I guess First…Are you still there ? I’m a New subscriber (I’m Kevin, the Wheelchair M.P.) as well as a 100% Disabled Vet. (Army). I felt Magic would be a way to meet people, maybe even a woman who sees me and not my wheelchair. I’ve jumped into magic rather quickly…I’ve purchased about $2,000 in tricks and books (I haven’t even opened nor tried a trick yet. Being in a wheelchair I can’t use my pockets so I’m hoping to “Tweak” the tricks so I can still do it effectively.
Do you use Wilbur set on the street? I was really excited and bought them but find the final load holdouts just are no good on the pitch. Do you use a different holdout? Hoping my new ambitious card parlour plus pouch can hold them upright. This has been one of my favorite posts you've made, now if we can only get a wand manipulation video on par with it.... Smilesotheylikeyou
I saw a great pool cue wand and Billard ball chop cup on ebay, know anything bout that set? Maybe tcc will recreate it, and release it a decent price. What chop cups and three cup routine that are similar to the pure cups design at a middle road price tags o you recommend? Do you market magic? I’d sit down with ya. Smilesotheylikeyou

@@DougConn I didn't watch it live, but look at the 13:42 mark and you'll see an example. The only reason I even reported it, was because you were touting all your new a/v equipment and I didn't want you to have ended up with a faulty piece.

Before writing this comment a message appear "Respect the magic". The only one NOT respecting the magic here is you. Revealing tricks for gaining some more views it's just so sad. You are destroying the art of magic, shame on you.
@@DougConn If you wanna teach just write a book or publish a DVD or make private lessons. It's the only way people with serious intentions will learn. You have to understand that for every 10 magi who watch your videos there are at least 3 people who are not interested in learning tricks. For those 3 people you are just revealing something they don't want to see, ruining their experiences AND the spoilering the art of magic itself. Think about it, I'll wait for your kind reply. Thank ya Ben
Don Alan was incredible. The double final load especially, was impeccably performed. So quick and smooth.
That's an awesome version Doug! Thank you for sharing
All the best to you and your family! And the rest of our kindred spirits watching!
Thanks Doug, wishing you all of the best.

Fantastic, such a great finale for Back to School Week!
tnx Sz, had fun doing it!
Great routine. Thanks for sharing your expertise, Doug!

I’m unsure bout that billiard chop cup & im unfamiliar with the “pure” cups, so ya kinda stumped me there
Will these Leo semester balls with the tcc cup work with the “through the hand” method?
