If the pitcher gets fined up to $25,000 and the manager loses $10,000 the beanball like spearing/targeting in football becomes taboo if made too easy and costly for retaliation

Rhys Hoskins did not have the balls to charge the mound. 30 years ago, any batter would have stormed the mound after Yohan Ramirez, especially Andres Galarraga, or Shawn Dunston. This will probably be the biggest MLB brawl of the season.
Why would He charge the mound? He'd already spanked the mets with his on field play not to mention Ramirez was right there by the plate and didn't do anything himself, funniest part is the mets can't even retaliate without metsing it up, that's two former phillie Met killers that they've attempted to hit but missed😂 Comedy gold!!!
What the hell is Darling looking at? Alvarez did NOT set up on the inner part of the plate, he was set in the middle. How can you watch the replay and claim something so blatantly false? He might as well be a Brewers broadcaster.
So are you seriously saying it was an accident that they threw behind hoskins of all people literally the day after the original incident. Like really?
Just stop! I don't like the Mets, but WTF? Hoskins is back after a serious injury and this clown throws a fastball at his shoulders to head area? It's dangerous and out of line. You want to hit him, fine, the waist down. You ever stood in the box with a 95MPH fastball? I have-- it's dangerous.
@@fazec0ld802 "Nazism: the common name in English for National Socialism is the far-right totalitarian socio-political ideology and practices associated with Adolf Hitler" What's your point? The pitch was far right...
I really don't think the pitch was intentional, but like the ump said, bad timing. The pitcher ran at the plate because he's a pitcher who is taught to cover home on a pass ball. Of course that's only when there is a man on 3rd base, but again, he's a pitcher so he reacted without thinking.
Nah, the young pitcher is just trying really hard to make a pitch and it got away from him. He charged at the plate because pitchers are trained to do that on a pass ball with a man on 3rd, but the young pitcher reacted on instinct. He didn't mean to, but as the ump said, bad timing.

Why is he getting thrown out while not physically hitting him but Hoskins gets to over slide a base and not. If this is gonna keep happening the mlb is going to have problems
Hoskins slid directly at the base he did not slide out of the base path to contact the defender, that is why there was nothing called about the slide. McNeil was incredible stupid for standing on the bag . Then Hoskins got intentionally thrown at but since he's not the size of a barn the guy missed him. Intent is the key part of the equat5ion here .
@KerryGlaman it might not be obvious but he slid across the bag on purpose to break the double play up McNeil caught it then less than a second later he is getting hit by a cleat also he’s been caught more than once doing this
Wow, fined 3 whole games for almost seriously injuring another player with a fastball intentionally. Why didn't MLB just slap punk Ramirez's little finger and say, "Don't do that again or we're gonna slap your pitching hand". Guys and gals get put in jail for less. A lot less. You're a dummy if you think it wasn't done on purpose. Check what happened the day before between the same teams.
