Also in many sectors of business you can estimate your future income by looking back at the last year.

@@violet18 jealousy and envy are valid
Those emotions don't come from nowhere. You don't wake up amd choose to be miserable. Life experience, neglect, lack of discipline and mishaps can shape you to becoming jealous. But recognising that you are in that moment and working on yourself to make yourself better and making sure you don't take out that upset on others is what is important. When my dad died when I was 9 I became so jealous of other girls with fathers I would cry every time I saw them. Which meant every time I left the damned house. I had to heal from it and managed to direct that jealousy to being happy for them they they didn't have to go through what I did. The jealousy wasn't the issue, life was genuinely unfair, but learning from it and changing how you see things is the key. This goes for every negative emotion.

Caleb... have you ever considered doing an episode with someone from a different country? I'm from the UK and I'm certain many others in Europe watch and would find it interesting to get your take on our finances :)

Yeah I agree he would only be able to deal with budgeting
He would have no context for things like salaries, pensions, differences in rents, paye etc
      Let alone conversions
50k is a great salary in the U.K. in America it’s struggle money

He probably wouldn't want to give incorrect adclvice because he doesn't know the intricacies of their taxes and situation, much less the laws themselves.

I have a hard time believing young adults when they say they don't get enough money. This woman is pulling in more money then my husband and I combined. And we are home owners. No Door Dash. No restaurants. No coffee runs.

When I was younger I worked more than one job . No social life, unhappy spent i.e. wasted money. Lost opportunities, lost money. Nor worth the effort. This girl is doing the same

If one doesn't have a very specific goal when taking on an additional job, they may as well not work it. If you aren't paying down on a bill, using that money to get together a down payment on a house, or to pay for your wedding...you are spending it on food, gas and nonsense to make you feel better because you're miserable.

I think it can be worth it for a short time for a specific goal. In summers in college I worked 50-80 hour weeks. It was maybe one year max cumulative of my life? Totally worth it long term. But to do it for any real length of time just makes no sense to me. It would destroy your life. And for what? More stuff?

Hey Caleb, I started watching a few months ago and I can now hear your voice yelling 'taquitos' every time I'm making stupid financial decisions. I've managed to budget and pay off enough debt that I can have a comfortable year long maternity leave with my baby. This channel is so important ❤️

@@isaiahayers1550not really. My family is from Wales. In the cities there's definitely mexican restaurants but in the village I live in we don't have one. Just a couple of Greek places, fish and chips etc.
