For the record when they are dealing with aliens and go into the so called "Negative Space" every type of environmental damage is limited to that and has no effect to the real world. On the contrary, when it's about Yokkai, most people can't see them but all the damage they do is visible in "mundane" reality too.
Cool fact: the business man song is actually a reference to an 80s Japanese energy drink commercial. You can even still look up the commercial on UA-cam!
7:00 That song that alien is singing is from a japanese ad for an energy drink. Also kind of like a protest against companies for making japanese workers work their b*** off.
Okay so this entire arc is kind of a nightmare to do in terms of action. You have no clear sense of where anything is because the walls are water and you can pass through into them, the boundaries of the space aren't visible at all, and our protagonists have the ability to traverse from place to place at a very high speed. It's generally considered the weakest of all Dandadan arcs but somehow they were able to make it kind of a semi-finale for this whole season just off of sheer manic energy vibes and some very well-timed jokes and gags. Absolute brilliance from Science Saru.
