@@shiftwrenchrepeat maybe consider the hats that are sold all over instead of the mesh rear. Might help to keep warm during the winter!!! Good looking designs!
Totally agree with your friend's perspective. The advantage with having friends in a certain business isn't the deal, it's the trust that you aren't going to get screwed over on price and they will stand behind their work. My attitude dealing with any business providing a service (automotive, electrical, roofing, etc.) is I am happy to pay a fair price for quality work they will stand behind.
Ever had a Toyota tundra 5.7 that dies when shifted into drive? It idles fine and can rev engine up, but shift to Drive and she dies, shift to reverse and it’ll stay running fine! Weirdest thing I’ve ever ran into! Changed plugs as I was throwing code for misfire in 3! Tested fuel pressure and Maf, I’m at a loss on where to go to now! Doesn’t seem to throw code when it dies either.
I had something very similar happen with my QX56 years ago. I think it was a speed sensor in the transmission. Mine would start and rev fine in park or neutral. Shift to drive and give it gas and it would die. In drive it would still idle but as soon as I touched the accelerator it died. It was about a 10min fix as it was bolted to the outside of the tranny and easy to get to. Hope this helps!!!
@@barrygolden9823 That’s exactly what mines doing! I’m used to carburetors and not fuel injection, acts like a fuel issue but I’ve checked the pressure and it seems good! May try your suggestion just in case
@@JimmyRogers-tl1iw my speed sensor was right behind the passenger side tire near the bottom of the tranny. Easy to get to and I think it was inexpensive for the part. Hopefully it's easy to swap on yours and fixes your problem!

Any of my "friends" asking for a discount are not real friends. True friends will pay full price to support your business.
Long time no see! Nice to see ya still active. And yes I fully agree
Still doing celica stuff????
The most important thing is to do quality work!!!! There are very few people that I trust to work on my vehicles.
You’re absolutely right!

That’s odd….. it’s hard to say without being there to see it myself :/
