- In today's video, I wanted to remember Kechaud Johnson, a professional skateboarder and one of my really good friends who passed a couple weeks ago. Kechaud lit up every room and skatepark that he entered and since I couldn't be at his memorial that took place at 4DWN Skatepark in Dallas, Texas, I decided to make my own personal tribute to this amazing human being. Kechaud touched so many lives while he was here; he certainly touched mine. I have so many good memories and crazy stories from us hanging out and skating that I wanted to end out the year celebrating his life through my personal emotional outlet: video. Rest in peace, Kechaud. ❤️

I grew up with Kechaud. Playing basketball together and when he started skating. He was the hero of our crew to have made it so far and made such an impact. Not just because of his skating but who he was as a person. Much love from Corpus for this videa
I remember seeing him skate at eizenbergs when I was a kid and was always amazed. He was always super nice to everyone around him. RIP Kechaud
I cried quite a bit at the funeral. Was tough seeing all of the skaters I grew up skating with crying. All grown men now. Rough day but he brought us all back together. Love you Chaudie
So lucky to have videos and pictures with him. I lost all mine in 2014. Loved him dearly
You nailed it, skate spots that seemed impossible to most, were a playground for Kechaud. What I remember was how fast he skated. Videos don't truly capture it, but the dude flew around. It always amazed me how fearless he was. Not only was he doing insane tricks down stairs and rails, but how fast he went doing those tricks. Such a nice guy and was willing to talk to anybody that wanted to talk to him. Truly the best dude and amazing skater. Rest easy Kechaud. You will be missed.
Such a good all around dude. I used to play basketball and skate with him. I still remember randomly seeing his check out in Transworld around '08 and congratulating him on Myspace. RIP
Such a great video, HorsePower Forever
Great video! I took 3 lessons with Ke'chaud. 6 hours I will never forget.
RIP Ke'chaud!
Awesome tribute, Eric. I remember watching that gap video when you first posted it and thinking he seemed like the nicest person.
Come back to us in another life buddy 😢 No shot that God or the universe won't take good care of you. You were one of the greats. I never met him, but I remember watching him skate at Eisenbergs
