Definitely agree with most of your rankings.
I do wish The Colony were bigger because it’s such a unique and fun spot. Would love if the same designers made another around town. It loses some points because it’s right outside the Cop station 😂.
Roanoke has the spoon and knife apparently because they are the “dining capitol of Texas”.
The new Dickies park in FW is also really dope if you get a chance to skate it some day. Also the upcoming street park in McKinney looks like it will be awesome once it is finished.

That clown ramp is a callback to Dallas skating history. The "Dallas Clown Ramp" was what Dallas was best known for as far as skating went in the '80s. The original got bounced around a lot, but apparently someone somewhere else had one in storage for decades and now it's at 4DWN in honor of the original.
I actually live a couple blocks away from the St. Francis park on the same cross street it's on. I'm 50 years old and terribly out of shape, but every time I see it, I think about dusting my board off and giving it a go, even as crappy a skatepark as it is. It does also become a playground for little kids all the time, so there's also that.

On another side note, that access road where Cody Rocamontes was killed was *right* on the other side of my backyard fence. He was hit by a car. Tragic.
And Vandegriff is good! It's in Arlington. I used to skate there all the time. Def check it out, folks.
Ohh man there’s so much history tied up with them at clown ramp! When I skated it, I didn’t realize it would be so slippery since it’s basically all fiberglass haha. You should def give st Franny a sesh! Thanks for watching!!
Interesting story on providence skatepark it was actually built because me and all the neighborhood skaters would constantly get in trouble skating people’s front stairs to their homes and the neighborhood elementary stairs so they eventually had a town meeting where we voiced a skatepark and a year later it was born. So many memories and tricks learned here….All of us have since graduated and moved on but amazing to still see people enjoying it (:
Wwwwhhatttt that’s awesome! Do you know what year it was built in? The closest skatepark to there I believe is either Denton park or Frisco, so that’s awesome that you guys get it built for that area!

Great video dude. Yeah St. Franny is pretty gnarly. I actually skated there really early one morning last year and saw the police loading a dead body into the coroner's van.
There was a person murdered blocks away and the body was dumped out of a car right at the intersection in front of the park. It made the news. I'm guessing that's what you're talking about. Crazy shit.

Carpenter definitely needs to be wider.
Frisco is great.
4DWN is so much more than a skatepark. It's a lifeline.
Denton is going to be replaced, hopefully it's even better in the future.
Wylie is actually really fun I think and it's never really busy, but the community is super cool.
McKinney is another great one and I know you hate the W, but we love it.
Garland's biggest problem is exactly what you said. Too busy
St. Francis is so often infested with soccer kids using it as a playground.
Farmers Branch is our local, so it gets lots of love from me.
Irving is home of the skaters that sit in the corner and get high the whole time and talk about skating but never do it.😂
Lewisville just had the half-pipes redone. Definitely fun with sketchy people.
The Colony is so good. I've actually met an Olympic skater there.
Vandergriff is really cool, but we usually go to Cody Rocamontes instead. But if there are more than 3 other people there, we go to Vandy.
Grapevine is called Dove? I hate that park. Worst in DFW IMO. The only one worse than White Settlement Skatepark.
Alliance is really cool and hold contests and camps.
Chisolm is really amazing, agreed.
Roanoke's big problem is that the runs crisscross like crazy. It's so easy to get snaked or get in a collision. The Point SkateShop says it's doing with less people going there.
Lake Worth is another good small park with a great wallride.
I live in Providence Village and only skate our neighborhood park when I don’t have time to drive out to the Frisco park. Even then, I mostly just work on flat ground. Driving to Frisco is 100% worth the 25 minute commute

When the skate scene was at it's peak in the early 90s we really only had Jeff Phillips (rip brother) and Bachman park's swatch ramp. We had to use mall parking lots like Town East rails and stairs and the burger bank at the BK that used to be off hgwy 635 and 30 or at Poteet HS for the 30 stair rail slides and acid drops. The lines were excellent at these spots and as you can imagine, we had to get good fast as you got run off frequently. We did have 2 hush hush ramp and bowl sites that were invitation onlly but i wont say where just in case Tex and Craig still use them.
Not a lot of people know about this one but those that do know it’s a great park with plenty of bowls and a small park setup but overall great flow and that is Granbury skatepark in Granbury Tx
Still didn’t mention Rancho park in Arlington! Very small skatepark behind El Rancho Supermarket, why it’s called Rancho Park now, my crew stays at that park as our local
Need space, for me it's Chisolm, Louisville, Garland, then the Edge. / Roanoke is pure street, not much flow. Vandergriff if it's vacant. No lights at Dickies or Watauga. Carpenter is a dust storm. McKinney concrete's kinda weird. Not sure about Frisco yet. Never been to 4DWN or Alliance. / Good vid, well done sir.

Lewi is my local and I’d probably rate it a three just because overtime it got a little boring for me but it’s still a fun park to skate with da homies
I like Lewisville, I would say it's drainage sucks though... when it rains the water puddles and remains a lake for extended periods of time...
Allen too many scooter kids, Carpenter is down the trail from my house that is fun but scooter kids who damn near broke my arm , Frisco is smack dab in a neighborhood, Frisco kids too, McK snake run is fun but scooter kids and the bowl is fun, Farmers Branch is so-so but the mini reminds of of the mini I had growing up, Irving bowl is fun but awkard forgoofy riders, Lewi pissed me off since I grew up in Highland Village with no one building a park but the local Scion (no longer around) paid for the naming rights that I like the mini but the coping sucks and I think the bowl is just too big but saw a kid on the RAT Tour pull a 540 on the wall, Vandy is fun with the bowls/run, 4DWN is rad because of Mike, Alliance I got to skate with El Guera and McGill so that is just solid, 'Noke has the solid Goldfish bowl but Roanoke is known for all the diners out there hence the utensils but there is a Hawaiian Falls across the street. Thank god you did not go to Decatur, PJ and I at Shredderz have been working with the city who wants to spend I think $250k on a park.

Anna has a brand New Skatepark that just opened last week I believe, with 3 Pump Tracks & each one goes thru a Bowl at each end & 1 has like a double bowl, 2 different pathways. I've been there a few times when it wasn't officially open. Check it out.
I went to Lewisville/Railroad Skatepark one night and it was almost Scary....Alot of weed and people drinkin Booze & yelling....But it was a Bad Ass park, I liked it...

Thinking about moving to Dallas from Springfield MO our skatepark is 16 bucks a day so any park is better then ours and the city destroys any diy parks plus you need a helmet at all time even if your just putting around

Oh yeah dude I’ve done three videos on Guapo on it’s old location and its last location. I miss that park so much! But for this video, I was only including parks that still exist but Guapo would’ve been a 5/5 for me taking into account the community it fostered plus Glen and Al being so awesome! Haha I think you rated the wylie skate park too high. Those 1/4 pipes and ramps have super janky metal transitions and every angle on every 1/4 or ramp is terrible. Placement of every feature except the benches is too tight and it's virtually impossible to get enough speed to use that center box...
