I visit Corsica every year since I was born. Every part of the island is unique and few kilometres you can find unique places very different from one to the other
Gosh I miss corsica sooo much. I was there in 2007 and 2011. First time we travelled everything around the north, east and south. Second time we stayed in Porto and travelled along the Calanches de Piana and hiked to Capo Rosso which was pretty exhausting but fun :) Thanks for the beautiful video. I am no longer able to go because of an illness I have but maybe one day. Would be a dream to come true :)
Kenny - Your work is at the highest level. Mixing drone and hand-held is so effective and yields a truly professional product. And of course it doesn't hurt to have nerves of steel on those rock ledges. I too am a videographer and have been to Corsica. Your video profiles are the "next best thing" to being there. Do you know Natura 2000? it is the area we will be walking that has exotic marina birds and fauna. We will also be on a snorkeling expedition next month right in Corsica. Thanks for the marvelous tour.

Hi, we will be visiting Corsica this July, would you suggest getting a rental car? Or is there busses that can take us to the different beaches? Thank you for your video it was very informative
I would definitely get a rental car! A lot of the beaches I've been to during my time there aren't connected to public transport networks, at least in my experience. You'd be really limiting what you could see if you were relying on buses all the time!

Hey bro - very nice video and good info :) Can you also recomend what village/town to stay in while visiting Corsica? Was thinking to stay in Bonefacio but perhaps it's just too touristy? I would like a calm spot with great views and good food :)
Really appreciate it mate! Somewhere I didn't mention in the video at all is Porto Vecchio. It's not as picturesque as Bonifacio (but then I think you'd struggle to find a place that is), but it's a little bigger and the old town centre has a lot going, especially in the evenings in peak season. The town is also very close to Palombaggia beach, #3 in the video! Definitely worth looking into though
Why not Belgùde(Belgodère) ? It's in the north near Calvi kinda isolated in the mountains with amazing views of the valley and the sea, btw there's almost no tourist at all in Belgodère and it's very calm so if you wanna visit northern Corsica you can definitely visit. It's also very small and there's not many people maybe around 600 and there's not many things to see in it except the views, the amazing people and also Losari beach that also have an ancient genoan tower. Anyways I hope this can help you.
Your video is great! In May I planned to go back to Sardinia with a motorcycle ( an RT ) but after seeing your video..I changed my plan and decided to go to Corsica instead. I have my own youtube channel, do you have any tips on how to increase my subscribers and views? Thanks for sharing your travel videos 😊 Greetings from Frau Ninaus of Graz,Austria
That's so nice to hear! You won't regret it! I haven't uploaded any content in a couple of years now, but my main recommendation would be to create pieces of content that are going to help out other people. I created plenty of 'highlight reels' from some of my trips, but besides looking nice they don't really do anything. They're a great way for me to remember my own experiences, but anyone else watching wasn't actually there, so isn't going to feel that same nostalgia you do. Instead, they're likely on UA-cam because they're trying to plan their own holiday/trip, and so help them do that by providing commentary like do's and don'ts, where to go and where to avoid, how much you spent to give them an idea on the overall cost etc. Hope that helps!
Corsica is just so beautiful everywhere. The west and south coasts are spectacular. The west coast is a bit wilder, the surf is stronger. Porto is a nice place there. At the east coast the surf is little milder. Calvi is a beautiful little city in the north west, and Bonifacio in the South. Porto Veccio and Sartene are very picturesque little cities. Corsica is also great for hiking. It's difficult to tell you where to go, because there is so much to see everywhere. A tip: You could try to take the "Fiery Elias", a little, kind of funny train riding close to the beach from Calvi to Ile Rousse
It's not expensive to eat just go supermarket and go eat on the beach 😊 trust me you save loads of money and just way way better and more chilled and feels cool but yeh
Yeah I reckon you could - the water was deep, but the reason I didn't was because I was there by myself, and getting back up to that point would take a while so I didn't want to leave my stuff lying about in the open
@@LogMapping2006 Well it's not. South of France and Italy is similar. Just bc Corsica and its cities reminds you of italy doesn't mean it should be Italian. Corsica is French and will always be
my only issue with corisca is that it's more expensive to fly to than similar islands. I'm living in Paris and I can go to mallorca (similar type of island) for less than half the price. I can even go to madeira/canary islands for less and they are much better islands closer to Hawaii type vibes. Going to most greek islands costs just as much as well.

Yes it can be busy in peak times, but the tourist footfall per year for Corsica is far less than other European 'island' holiday destinations, like Mallorca, Tenerife, Ibiza, Crete, Rhodes, Sicily, Sardinia and Cyprus. It might be more well known in some regions of Europe than others (like France and Italy) but if you ask the average person in somewhere like the UK whether they've heard of Corsica, 9 times out of 10 they'll say no. Ask them about any of the above islands listed, and I bet it's a different story.
@@LogMapping2006 only a tiny percentage of the island speak Corsican. It’s predominantly French. I’ve visited the island 20 or so times, each for a week or more in duration, and only once did I ever hear anyone speaking Corsican.
