Excellent video guided tour. To answer your ? Vallée de Fango that finishes in the bay Galeria, with a camping on the beach with freshwater lagoon, a short distance from the beach. Am writing a book about that summer. Thanks again.
That’s indeed a big omission! Tango valley is a must visit when in the north east of the island I’ve been there many times Thank you for the reminder 👍😊
Hello Janus, How have you been doing? Hope you have been well and traveling happy. Thank you for all these great video's and all your time. Excellent work. 😊👍🏻
Hi, Sir J! To answer your question, "what is my favorite place in Corsica?" , my biased answer would be Bonifacio. 😂✨️ Thanks for sharing another wonderful vid. 🫶🏻

Thanks for the nice video! How did you manage the drone flights. It seems, that some of the spots require a special permit. Can you recommend me a way to as or permits at the authorities?
Thank you very much Most locations are no problem. For a few you will need to request permission through the app. I used a DJI drone and requested it through there
I’m from Puerto Rico my great grandfather was born in Corcica I don’t know exactly what part. Is there a way for me to find out? All I know is that his last name was Lagomarsini, and that a lot of men migrated to PR. I would love to visit the place where he was born.
It’s difficult to know where he was from. Maybe there are some local people who may know where some families are from but I wouldn’t know where to start. But Corsica is certainly worth a visit and I’m sure you would very much enjoy a trip there
Great question. It depends what you are most interested in and how you want to structure the trip. If you’re into mountains and hiking, I would stay in or around Corte. From there, you can do day trips to the coastal areas. If you’re more into beaches, then the beaches around Calvi in the north and some of the Douthern beach towns might be best. But from either of these places you would need to take a 2-3 day trip to the other parts of the island.
@@michaelv1394 hi Michael, Corsica is very safe and there is definitely no violence against visitors. Some of the challenges are mainly directed against the federal police. I would only beware of thefts from parked cars but that’s something everyone should be cautious of when traveling by car almost anywhere in Europe
Sorry to disappoint you. It’s difficult to pick a beach for such an overview video… there are sooo many nice ones. I may make a separate video just on beaches so please stay tuned.
Selam my Friend. The Corsican people are not French , they represent themselves as a separate people, it's importante to know that. See you soon. Thank you for you vidéo.
Corsican people own french nationality, it is a fact. Some corsicans might not like it, but the majority of Corsican people still acknowledge their french nationality.
Wrong! Only few.% want independance. The majority of corsican people want only more autonomy. The reality of corsican society is complex and in particular with politics subjects; so don’t be sure to have a good comprehension rapidly and don’t found your opinion with only words on the walls which are wroten by the same persons.

Sarténe is also the model of the village in "Asterix in Corsica" :))
I did not know that but can see why they chose Sartene. Thanks for the additional info!
Hey Janus. How have you been? Amazing video! Ive never been to Corsica yet. When will u revisit Switzerland?
Thank you, it’s an amazing place to visit!

@@januslog yup. I want some day!
I lost my good friend Henri in Corsica on the 1986 'Tour de Corse' so tragic...!
I'm very sorry to hear. Corsica was fantastic in the 80s though... quite untouched.
Nice as always Janus! Maby going to Sardinia after this? 🌼😀
Thank you Gert, I’d love to see Sardinia as well - I’ve never been. But planning a trip to Italy so hopefully will cover then 👍

What town would recommend as a base to explore this island for seven nights?

Viva la Corsica libera. Viva Pasquale Paoli.
Hello
How long it took you to do this itinerary?
I went for 2 weeks and took my time. You can do the trip in a week but it will be a bit rushed.
The French Emperor, Napoleon Bonaparte probably belonged to Corsica.
Yes, Napoleon is a big deal in Corsica and he’s definitely seen as the perhaps most famous Corsican that ever lived
My wife and I are planning on visiting in October. Did you feel safe on your visit? I'm a person of color and we also heard there is violence
