Looks great so far bud, i heard you say about soldering all the joints together, just be careful as when the temp rises it gives more chance of the track warping. Have heard of some real nightmares with this problem. Take care Ken.
Hi Ken, Thanks for watching & thanks too for this advice. Not heard that before. The Lofthouse track has indeed been Fishplate soldered. On my Inspection there's thankfully no issues after 10 years & in a loft going from Hot to Cold with my concerns over expansion & contraction some years ago. The Trains all run great but, did have issues with couplings, especially with the old WWW magnetic ones, which I've now resolved fully & also uncovered a couple of other things to stop bad runs that hopefully I'll get up soon

Going to be an awesome layout! Only wish I had the space (have a 6 x 4 TT layout) and skill to do something like this. Can't wait to see it finished.
