I could just about eat my weight in guacamole. These all look super delicious! Lately, my wife and I are in love with what our favorite local Mexican restaurant calls "Mexican-style guacamole". It's whole avocado chunks very lightly tossed with pico, cilantro, and pickled jalapenos; seasoned with tajin and served with a lime and orange wedge. I basically want it with every meal.
I’m in San Diego, CA and it’s been rough out here for the avocados too! It’s seriously like playing the lotto every time you choose one! Yours actually looked incredible! 🥑🥑🥑 Ps- thanks for the great recipes! Looking forward to trying these asap!
Arnie, I was adopted out of my latino culture. Watching your videos has given me a bunch of recipes to try to learn more about my mexican-american culture! Thanks so much for your channel!
Watching from Toronto, Canada. You have great recipes and a great sense of humour! You're my GO TO man for Mexican recipes, my daughter loves the salsa and guac I make - many thanks to you.
I just found your channel through the refried beans video and I honestly started crying because it just reminds me of my childhood when my dad would make us refried beans with cheese. I’m about to binge all your videos ❤
When in Southern US, my GoTo is Mexican. I get the table side guacamole. I get to see the process live. They use a LOT of salt. The guacamole is great, so I go heavy on the salt when I make it. I like to add cumin and occasionally a dab of sour cream. Love the videos!
Thanks for all the great inspiration! Made your boiled rojo salsa the last 2 days! Being from AZ I don't put tomato in my guacamole but I do add chunks of orange or tangelo to it. Absolutely fantastic. No orange juice just the chunks folded in for a refreshing surprise between all the fire from the serrano's
I planted 2 avocado trees in my backyard because of the love for avocados and especially guacamole 🥑!!! (I live in Southern California) I’m sorry for the folks that live in places avocados don’t grow… it’s a sad situation really.
I've made all 3. I make the first one most often as I use it in another dish. I add lime juice to it when I make it that way. When I want it for chips, I usually use the second recipe. Great video!
My favorite. I laughed when I saw this because I add my pico de gallo to the avocado and I add a spoon of salsa on the side of the guacamole and scoop both together onto my tortilla chip. Love it
Hi from South East Asia, I really love avocado and pico de gallo, but never try guacamole with pico de gallo, and after watched your video I try to make right a way, oh it is really delicious, I love it, thank you for making this video, it is helps me to learned Mexican food more, I love Mexican food.
Don't change a thing you're perfect your food is perfect and you tell us just what we need I repeat need to know thank you again and God bless too much
I love adding a small bit of tequila or mezcal. Also, your last version is one of my favorites. I love adding lots of chili - some red cayenne really adds a nice sweet spice.
Yeaaaahh!! Those first two guacamoles I've known them forever, but the third one I've never tried it, good idea for tonights bbq!! Thank you for your videos Arnie!!!
Thank you! Been looking after myself for awhile now and really appreciate knowing what is authentic and what is Tex-Mex. Doesn't matter as far as eating but goog to know!
Thank you for the recipe’s , all have been excellent and my granddaughters love them ( I just have to adjust the heat for the little ones) . Thanks again 👍👍👍👍👍
I like to make my guacamole like your #2 but I add just a little olive oil just to make it a little more creamy. Love this video. I'll be trying #3 soon.
All three guacamoles look fantastic. I usually make a fairly simple one with avocado, onion, salt, lime, cilantro and serranos. If I only have jalapenos I put a dash of cayenne in and sometimes I add tomato too. So many good ways to make guacamole! Thanks Arnie!
Arnie. I had some extra salsa roja from a taco truck. I added it to my guac with cilantro and OG. The best guacamole I have ever had. Thank you for the tip. Game changer.
I love a little kosher flake salt on top to finish my guacamole. I'm a Texas transplant in Portland Oregon so I'm always teaching my friends proper texmex techniques.
Delicious! Made this and quite a few of your other recipes for a Mexican feast today and it all came out amazing! I made refried beans, barbacoa especial, roja salsa, verde salsa, your momma’s Spanish rice, and guacamole! Your recipes aren’t much different than my own but I’m always down to try something new and I’d never made barbacoa before which is how I found you in the first place. Everything was amazing! 🧡
Thanks for sharing with us the tricks of the trade when it comes to the familiar flavors of taquerias and home kitchens we all know and love. I hope your channel takes off!
My momma Cruz always just smashed them with lime , then a little water , just to make it smother, and to make it stretch ! Always at least five for dinner ! RIP Mom!
They all look tasty. I make mine similar to your Pico version. Differences are; red onion(instead of white), a little comino, and fresh lime juice. Also I cut the avocadoes into chunks and don't "mash" until I incorporate the Pico. That way it stays a little chunky. Thank you for all the great content.
I once had guac at someone's birthday. He cut his guac avacados into little cubes rather than mashing them. Same to the onions and tomatoes, just little cubes. They'd get a little broken up when stirred but every bite was just pops of everything and it was fantastic. Don't remember his name but will always remember him for the idea. It's delicious.
I add whatever herbs I have, could be parsley, dill, thyme or mint, really whatever. I’m lucky living in Northern NSW, avocado trees everywhere. You can buy them on the side of the road for very cheap.
Great video! I've been making different versions for decades. My favorite is the garlic version, but I like to use a garlic press/mincer instead of chopping. I also like to alternate between white onion and red/purple onion in my pico de gallo. Love your videos
Love watching you Arnie! I make my guacamole like you do by adding my pico de gallo to creamy avacados. I tend to add a little more lime juice as we like ours a little on the tart side. I grew up in KY and learned to cook Mexican food after I moved to Texas as an adult. We liked the video on choriqueso but wondered if you’ve ever done one on queso flameado? We almost always get a steak fajita queso flameado when we go to our favorite Mexican restaurant.
Would you be able to do a recipe for enchiladas suivas? I absolutely love your informative delicious content! From my family to yours out home is a happier place with the recipes of love you've shared with ya mama. 🎉❤
Those all look good. I make mine with tomato lemon pepper seasoning and lime. It's so good. My daughter loves mine and will only eat it when I make it...
Delicious! Guess what? Today for my first time ever, I made your mom’s Spanish rice and your runny beans. Next your fajitas 😊thanks for all your easy recipes. My husband comes home every night wondering what delicious meal I made. I’m not a cook but I’m learning from you 😊 thanks!
I do alot of #1 because its so easy. When I have time, I like to do #2. Will have to try #3. I love spicy salsa, but I have never really made my guac spicy on its own. I will have to give it a shot!!
fold in a diced hard boiled egg and a 'touch' of mayo. I preferred your 2nd version - AND - the one with serrano - avocade is a powerhouse of nutrition - yummo!
I love these recipes and I am going to try them the next time I make guacamole! I make mine with fresh (ripe) avocados, jalapeños, fresh minced garlic, Roma tomatoes, cilantro, red onion (IMO has a better bite than white or yellow onions), lime juice, and salt. The extra ingredient that I add is a teaspoon of white wine vinegar. It helps to cut the acidity of the lime juice and gives the guac a balanced mouthfeel/creaminess.
Ive definitely done the pico + avocado method, Arnie! Thank you for sharing all these wonderful methods, brother! You make me proud to be a Texan en la frontera!
Dr. Seuss week ya se pasó Arnie…it’s great with chips, it’s great with warm tortillas, it’s great on toast, or as a super tasty side dish with just about any main course! Keep up the great work!
Pro Tip: When you score an avocado, use a butter knife flipped upside down (dull side of blade). That way, when you scoop out the meat, your spoon doesn't puncture the skin.
I squeeze the avocado out then add a little olive oil, salsa picante and salt. Mash and that's the way they do it in Reynosa, Mexico. Everybody loves it
Arnie, I’ve never been to Texas but when I do I want to meet you. I feel like your my UA-cam Tio. Love your attitude! Keep up the good work. You’re making me hungry 😅
I could just about eat my weight in guacamole. These all look super delicious! Lately, my wife and I are in love with what our favorite local Mexican restaurant calls "Mexican-style guacamole". mmmm sounds delish, will have to try the pickled jalapeños and tajin
I’m in San Diego, CA and it’s been rough out here for the avocados too! It’s seriously like playing the lotto every time you choose one! Yours actually looked incredible! 🥑🥑🥑
Ps- thanks for the great recipes! Looking forward to trying these asap!
Yum, I’ll try this, although I will swap out the pickled jalapeños for fresh.
Arnie, I was adopted out of my latino culture. Watching your videos has given me a bunch of recipes to try to learn more about my mexican-american culture! Thanks so much for your channel!
I was adopted out of my jewish culture, and I'm Mexican lol
The bloopers are awesome 😂
Thanks for not leaving out anything. You two are so funny and enjoyable.
I like mines with a little extra lime so I’d pick that 3rd one! But they all look great!
Watching from Toronto, Canada. You have great recipes and a great sense of humour! You're my GO TO man for Mexican recipes, my daughter loves the salsa and guac I make - many thanks to you.
Thanks for showing different takes on guac from your area, I love to explore different regions of all types of recipes and all nationalities!
I just found your channel through the refried beans video and I honestly started crying because it just reminds me of my childhood when my dad would make us refried beans with cheese. I’m about to binge all your videos ❤
Serrano peppers have a wonderful flavor. I love them.
Guacamole y chicharrones ... cerca del cielo!
When in Southern US, my GoTo is Mexican. I get the table side guacamole. I get to see the process live. They use a LOT of salt. The guacamole is great, so I go heavy on the salt when I make it. I like to add cumin and occasionally a dab of sour cream. Love the videos!

Being from AZ I don't put tomato in my guacamole but I do add chunks of orange or tangelo to it. Absolutely fantastic. No orange juice just the chunks folded in for a refreshing surprise between all the fire from the serrano's
Great! New recipes to add to my 1 old regular one.
I’m so glad I found your channel. I’ve learned so much in a short amount of time. Your videos are so inspirational, helpful, and fun to watch.
I planted 2 avocado trees in my backyard because of the love for avocados and especially guacamole 🥑!!! (I live in Southern California) I’m sorry for the folks that live in places avocados don’t grow… it’s a sad situation really.
😟
I agree…..
Sad but true 😂 I say the same thing about people who don't get to live where we do in NW Montana 😁
Although California is such a beautiful state 🙂
How much of them do you have? How often? So jealous ✌️😅
Love it
Anything with avocado is delicious in my opinion... any style! Great video Arnie! Thank you
Hi from South East Asia, I really love avocado and pico de gallo, but never try guacamole with pico de gallo, and after watched your video I try to make right a way, oh it is really delicious, I love it, thank you for making this video, it is helps me to learned Mexican food more, I love Mexican food.
I like a purist avocado-guacamole. Chunky, fresh lime juice, chopped cilantro in the background, salt and pepper. Perfection
Agreed. Less is more. I would maybe add some onion. But the avocado should be the star. Definitely no tomato.
I'm with you. I want to taste the avocado's, we have really good one's here. Aloha, HI.
you must be one of those homosexuals
Salt and lime is true purist
Yup your wife is right when i see tom onions etc its jst a filler like putting cottage cheese or sour cream to expand it no thank you sir
That's how I do it 💯
Yeaaaahh!! Those first two guacamoles I've known them forever, but the third one I've never tried it, good idea for tonights bbq!! Thank you for your videos Arnie!!!
I like #2 but with cumin and extra lime added! Chunky or smooth I love both!
I'm a new viewer and I'm loving your recipes! You're a great teacher, as well. Thank you!
I love guacamole and would eat all three of these but the 2nd one with the pico would be my favorite.
Thank you Arnie for the great recipes . I made great guacamole following your video and it was delicious!!
The world is a better place because of guacamole. Thanks for the video!
I was looking for a Guacamole video just a couple of days ago, and there you go 😀
Lots of love from Germany. Thanks!
You're so welcome!
I like to make my guacamole like your #2 but I add just a little olive oil just to make it a little more creamy. Love this video. I'll be trying #3 soon.
Love this guy! What a good inspiration to make delicious food at home from fresh ingredients
Smooth with avocado chunks and Pico De Gallo.
Looks good. Cilantro white onion. Salt pepper lime juice. Garlic. Cumin and chipotle chili powder
Arnie… I like how you present the love for food. Thank you so much from 🇩🇪
All three guacamoles look fantastic. I usually make a fairly simple one with avocado, onion, salt, lime, cilantro and serranos. If I only have jalapenos I put a dash of cayenne in and sometimes I add tomato too. So many good ways to make guacamole! Thanks Arnie!
I love these videos. Your positivity is contagious! I can't wait to make some guacamole now
Arnie. I had some extra salsa roja from a taco truck. I added it to my guac with cilantro and OG. The best guacamole I have ever had. Thank you for the tip. Game changer.
I like the #2 way. I’ll have to make some this weekend. Thank you for the motivation ❤️
I do traditional, but without lime.... Sometimes I add some grilled corn, which is probably my favorite.
All 3 look fabulous and yummy
Love u guys. So real and authentic. I love the outro of this video.
I just wanted to pop in and leave a comment! I've been watching all of your videos and they are fantastic. Thank you for everything you post!

I like Terry style and the Pico style also🎉
Man, I just found your channel and I'm so glad I did!

My momma Cruz always just smashed them with lime , then a little water , just to make it smother, and to make it stretch ! Always at least five for dinner ! RIP Mom!
#2… guacamole with pico. Yummmm.
Dear God. My mouth is watering! I’ll take all 3 please….
They all look tasty. I make mine similar to your Pico version. Differences are; red onion(instead of white), a little comino, and fresh lime juice. Your #2 version is how I make mine, but I would eat guacamole made just about any way. Greetings from Ohio.... ✌️
Love watching you Arnie! I make my guacamole like you do by adding my pico de gallo to creamy avacados. I tend to add a little more lime juice as we like ours a little on the tart side. The bloopers at the end were good 😂 this made me hungry
I’m with you pal, number two looks like the best 😍
A guy from zacatecas showed me his red guacamole. Blended some arbol chiles with garlic salt and oregano and mixed it in with avocado. Amazing
I like the looks of the guacamole with pico de gallo. Making me drool.
I've made it all those ways, too. Even those pice with the avocado chunks
Delicious! Guess what? Today for my first time ever, I made your mom’s Spanish rice and your runny beans. Next your fajitas 😊thanks for all your easy recipes. My husband comes home every night wondering what delicious meal I made. I’m not a cook but I’m learning from you 😊 thanks!
I like this guy. I respect him. and it seems like he respects us.
All three with fajitas and a cold one. Can I get a HELL YEAH!!!
I appreciate you, your wife and your channel. I love avocados so much 😊
Just realized I have been watching your videos for a long time. Appreciate your knowledge man.
Pico for the win. It’s really good!! Especially on some smoked brisket with homemade tortillas!
I make my guacamole with the aguacates smashed not too chunky, not too smooth and I add in pico de gallo. So yummy. 😋
I like guacamole and pico on the side. I like to eat either alone or combined…. Love each bite to be different!
Ive definitely done the pico + avocado method, Arnie! Thank you for sharing all these wonderful methods, brother! You make me proud to be a Texan en la frontera!
Thanks for the recipes!! Viva guacamole de México!!! 🇲🇽
Really loving your videos! You're the TexMex Mario! Thanks for the great recipes and techniques, my friend!
I’m team Terri but I love your heat 🌶️ !👏🏻
Love how simple you make it look. I like you YT presence. Many can learn from you.
Love love love guacamole. I use the pico. Best ever!!! Gracias!
When I have my garden going and my home grown Avocados That is a great Guacamole!
Also to note. Homemade guacamole is a must on the street tacos!
Yeah guac, some people absolutely love and some don't. I luv it especially fresh made
You and your Mom need to have a cookbook
Another classic video by Tio Arnie! I like #2, but all look amazing!!
I never thought about putting salsa in guacamole. Sounds so good
I have to try the third one, never thought of just peppers and normally make the pico style.
Dr. Seuss week ya se pasó Arnie…it’s great with chips, it’s great with warm tortillas, it’s great on toast, or as a super tasty side dish with just about any main course! Keep up the great work!
I agree with Mrs. ArnieTex, I like my guac a little clumpy not smooth or whipped.
❤your videos friend! Very warm to the viewer and such love in your technique
Arnie, you are so fun. Thanks for all the fantastic recipes.
Man, that guacamole bowl with Serranos would be perfect with a little cotija on top. My mouth was watering this whole video 😂
Pro Tip: When you score an avocado, use a butter knife flipped upside down (dull side of blade). That way, when you scoop out the meat, your spoon doesn't puncture the skin.
Love my guacamole 🥑.

I love that he speaks perfect English and Spanish!
I always make mine like number two. I'm gonna have to try number three soon! Thank you for sharing with us
