If anyone is thinking of making a "You Can Do Anything" or "Toot Toot Sonic Warrior" comment, the 8-bit Sonic 2 predates Sonic CD by about a year. Click here for the complete playlist ua-cam.com/play/PL03nkEZaQd7a92ZAXgI3vAvmjOyDjLSVK.html
I wonder why they used the same song. Don't get me wrong, considering my financial situation at the time I wasn't even allowed a Mega Drive let alone a CD, glad I got to hear it that way first. Loved Green Hills Sonic 2 music. Gimmick Mountain and Scrambled Egg were also good. Liked Scrap Brain in the 8 bit version too, more then the 16 bit one.
Iirc the games share at least one composer; so it’s likely the song was written for Sonic CD, since it was ready super early in its development and the melody reused for Sonic 2 with it being developed in the meantime
Don't worry. I'm in the minority who actually prefers Sonic Boom as the music for the intro to Sonic CD. Look it fits the intro cutscene better ok? Plus it's one rocking tune.

This is how the original sounded in my head when I was a kid 👍

I never would've though to use flutes for the main melody at the beggining. That's so genius!
This track is fire for being good and inspire one of my most nostalgic tracks out there

That fact aside, you clearly CAN do anything when it comes to music.
But I will make a Mecha Green Hill comment.
I hope it's mentioned in Act 2!

Same, although I liked the 8-bit version of Labyrinth more than the 16-bit. Also Aqua Lake is probably one of my favorites from Sonic 2.

Wow, this remix sounds super beautiful!
0:45 sonic boom
Swap this zone's placement with Underground zone to get much more fitting theming (in a potential remake?)
Such an underrated Sonic song
I wouldn't say it's underrated.
After all, it did get remixed a few times. 😊
i havent been able to find any. where did you find some?@@SonicGamerGirl2006
*You can do Anything*

Que incrível
Ficou igual a do sonic cd um pouco
o melhor é se tu comparar a original com a you can do anything do sonic cd elas sao iguais
0:45 to 1:12 es la misma progresión de notas de "You Can Do Anything" de la animación de apertura de Sonic Cds.
A m a z i n g . . .
The music has the refenrence of sonic CD
Uh, this is actually the original track. "You Can Do Anything" is essentially a vocal remix of that track.
Something Robotnik should’ve done in ‘91
Aqua Lake Zone when?
Over a year ago (I did the entire soundtrack with assume bonus songs). Click the link to the complete playlist in the card or pinned comment
@@km_studios no wait, tbis was the wrong video, i was listening through my playlist, srry
Wait is this the same music of sonic cd first zone?
Yes
Actually this is the intro song (jp)

Completely agree. I even think the Sonic Boom reprise fits the ending better than Cosmic Eternity.
Thank you for being intelligent unlike 75% of the population. The JP song is good, but Sonic Boom is much better for the cutscene and for the credits.
I don't agree but ok.
I don't agree, because Sonic Boom doesn't fit the cutscene as much as You Can Do Anything.
I prefer Sonic CD's USA ost a lot more as a whole actually
This should not be the first level?
no
Sounds different like sonic cd
