What did the Eurolift bed lift cost and where did she get it? It is made by the same people that make the a Happijak but they told me that it is almost impossible to become an OEM with them because they have very high minimum orders commitment. That means they’re going to be so few vendors price will be astronomical. They even discouraged me from wanting one saying it’s only used in multi million dollar motor coaches in weird locations which is BS about the weird locations. Those double pane acrylic windows in the back also cost a pretty penny. She spent a fortune on this conversion but I guess that’s what interior designers do.
I would love to know what this van cost to build? It's perfect for what I want. She has a great design. Little worried it would be way out of my budget though.

@@joshn2342323 Honestly, living in a van is about 100x more stressful. Seriously. The angst of figuring out where to sleep each night. the stress of breaking down and not only your vehicle but also your home towed for repairs that can take days/weeks. The stress of living in a depreciating asset that will be worth 1/2 of what you paid for it. The stress of not having a central place to call your own. One of the best-designed vans I've seen. Exactly how I would have it, a roomy place to take a shower, and sitting area behind that. I think a lone female needs two things if she is going to do vanlife, a bathroom so she doesn't have to leave the van at night, and a way to get to the cab quickly without leaving the van, and being able to "relocate" or leave the area as quickly as possible. If I had a van to design into a living space, I'd definitely take it to you.
@@janisvirgin719 I don’t know your age but you still can! I watched a video of a 72 yo woman who is rocking van life better than some younger people. Don’t let your age hold you down

Shannon has done a brilliant job in designing this van conversion and has totally nailed all of the space and storage solutions. The bed lift system is just pure genius. Yes.. I saw another build that had a inside thermostat that reports back to you by App over your phone.. so you can monitor the real-time temp in the vehicle And always know if something malfunctioned and her doggie was in danger
This is really good! It checks the boxes where most van builds compromise on but I do not really want to: 1. shower + toilet 2. good size sleeping area 3. comfy living, dining, entertainment area 4. ventilation/airconditioning options 5. working kitchen Bonuses 1. outdoor table options 2. those windows are a good case for getting your build done by pros 3. rice cooker + steamer is awesome (and uncooked rice is easy to keep and won't spoil right for a while) - with the right recipes, you won't need a stove for many meals
I often hear people say they only use their toilet for nr 1's. So where do they go for nr 2's. Genuine question. When is it raining for days, for example?

@@rubiconoutdoors3492 I believe only front wheel drive. Not ideal for traction when you do a van build with all your weight on the rear axle! Fabulous design! I didn't even see the bed until it started to lower - the van is still so open, I think mainly because of all the light coming in. What a brilliant idea! Another, is the lift up bench top - brlliant use of wasted space, and I love the position of the sink which not only gives a deeling of space when the door is open, but provides wasy access to water from outside. A very, very liveable, roomy, practical, attractive conversion - well done!
She done it better than most couples & also solo guys out there. No matter if it was helped either by husband or a friend. But if no one did, then she is truly truly creative. Especially with the Table & bedding setup & utility syorage. Yet noone has come up with the shower-toilet problem. But she has done it upto the mark.
Wow, what a great job you have done on this build. I see where more are going with the induction cook tops. The pantry is awesome, as is the bathroom set up. Love the sticker wall. Great seating and bedroom area. I like to see that many women have the confidence to hit the road and go forward with what makes them happy. Have a wonderful time.
I have my van design in my head for years and now I just seen it for real. This is awesome. Love every thing about it especially the drop down bed. Class
Love what you did especially the elevator bed! That is awesome. That gorgeous big pantry would have to be a clothes closet for me! A couple of pullout drawers built into the underside of the bed sounds great! Wonder if you could do that? Shower curtain across the potty is an excellent idea and Gracie is a gorgeous pupper! Do you do conversion busses as well? Congratulations on turning your job into a “To Go” occupation. Wish this kind of thing was more popular when I was younger. Oh well! Happy and safe travels!

This is the nicest and most practical design of van living I have seen so far. The bed lift idea is absolutely brilliant! Well done Shannon. I am a minimalist but you have given me ideas for sure.
This has to be one of my favorite builds. Love the design and the bed 🛌 lift
Brilliant, you do such wonderful design work. Happy to see you living your life from the spirit of adventure vs fear. 67, retired and hit the road full time 9 months ago.
Traveled from the coast of CA, currently along the Blue Ridge Parkway just in time to watch the brilliance of fall right before my eyes. Same experience of safety, I think being fully self contained makes all the difference in the world ~ you can easily “exit stage left” if need be. BRAVO!
Impressive young lady.
I enjoyed your tour.
Wise use of your knowledge and beautiful life lived your way.
Thank you for encouragement to standing up to imaged fears and enjoying life for what it has to offer.
Thank you for sharing.
Wow, I've seen expensive motorhomes that weren't designed as nice as this, well done!!!
This looks expensive. Probably around $150 K.
This is such a classy and beautiful set up, love the bed idea and all the storage and cool little extra's. Beautiful dog ! Thanks.....
Best van build I've seen in the all the years I've been watching the vanlife builds. Great design for living and working on the road with a dog!
So in love with the design. You did an AMAZING job. I'd love a van like yours in the future.
This is one of the best van builds that I’ve seen so far
I have my van design in my head for years and now I just seen it for real. This is awesome. Love every thing about it especially the drop down bed. Class
Very nice! What's even nicer is that you have all the headroom as well. You dont have to crouch down and can walk around freely.
This is literally the perfect van. I wish I could buy something just like this.
One of the best designed van I’ve ever seen. So well thought out !
I love the design and colors of your van. It looks so cozy and homey. Clever bed-lift too. Enjoy your adventures traveling! Jenny
I love how you treat your sweet puppy. Good luck in your travels. God bless
Wow! Every detail is so elegant, practical, and balanced. You are very talented.
This is one of the best designs ever! Beautifully done. Stay safe✌️
WOW! I am so impressed with what you have created in this van❤️ if I ever did one… YOURS is GOALS
I've seen over 40 vans, and this is probably one of, if not, the best I've ever seen.
A beautiful design 👏👏👏. Lovely bed system . That is a winner . And toilet shower is terrific. ( that is a must). One if the very best conversions I have seen. Take a bow you are the winner
