Great job, ty. I have a 2016 rdx, and just snugged the outter valve cover blots, not the inside( didnt take off plenuim). gasket is leaking, from rear at 58,000 miles. hope it stops, if not have to do, everything you did, ty again!

Why does my valve cover have 9 bolts each cover.
Four in front, four in back, and one on side for each cover?
Great question, I haven’t come across one. the process is similar if you grab the concept of doing it

Awesome vid! Does this job require valve adjustment also? Our 13 RDX seems to be leaking in front valve cover and our alternator is now going out ..
Hi there, great question. Valve adjustment doesn’t need to be done when the valve cover gaskets are replaced. Hope that helps clarify the question, my friend 👍😊
A super common problem that causes alternator failure isnt the valve cover gasket put the gaskets inside the vvt actuator.
@@tennisgod3427 I appreciate the feedback. Replaced the alternator, and shortly after I did replace the VVT Solenoid gaskets with Mahle gasket from O’relleys Auto Parts. Thank you!

I try to find out Pcv location . Where is it?
Hi Iao, you mean the PCV Valve? It’s on the driver’s side of the front valve cover. Hope that’s helpful
