All I can say is, OUTSTANDING video brother! Very detailed and every step is illustrated, no skipping or sidestepping. Just, wow! Thank you! Now to order all the parts needed and then, get busy.
Great video I thank you for sharing your knowledge.. however, I can't agree with the "you don't have to" when it comes to cleaning up the parts you remove during the breakdown.. yes you DO need to clean everything up as best you can.. if you have it all apart take the time to get everything as clean as possible.. it certainly doesn't hurt.. take pride in your work and especially if it's for a customer who is paying for your services 👍 that is all... Thanks
That rear valve cover is going to be a challenge, there’s tiny seepage of oil around the coil pack on one of the rear spark plugs and the connector was so crusted it snapped lol
Is it just me and this 300k motor but there are many more hoses that seem to be glued on so I don't want to damage them and the maf and others are not the same ...is this a 3.5 04 pilot?
Why when I look up the intake gasket for this engine. The replacement part for it has square openings on it and they show round gaskets with it also. When you take this off you show a upper and lower gasket on the intake. Am I looking up the wrong thing.

That moment of silence @ 9:37 when the connecter for the coil falls into the abyss of the backside of the engine bay 😂

15:10 when he’s putting in the new gasket there is clearly an indexing point where the tab should be on the other side of the valve cover.
Fyi: the 2 wheel drive valve cover gaskets are cheaper as 1 of them is smaller then the other. 4 wheel drive both gaskets are the same size!
Thank u man this help more then I expect god bless u an yr family
The rear isn't as bad as expected just took a little extra work to maneuver it under the wiring harness and over the spark plug tubes.
Thank you for this video!!!!
Great video. Thank you.
You just hopefully saved me an engine replacement. ❤❤

Is this the same for a 2207 Acura MDX?
Is rtv or some form of sealant not needed?

The part kit you link in the description says it doesnt fit 2003 Honda Pilot. Seems risky to reuse those plenum gaskets.
Can you just replace the from valve cover gasket without taking everything off
Isn’t the torque is 8.7 ft pd. Seems like your torquing more then that 😅just wanna make sure , but good video
Great video. Am about to start the day.
Im watchin this because i have to replace them on my moms pilot. Then i have to recharge the AC.
Dang my 2006 3.5L doesn't have any rusted parts like that one. That car must have lived near the ocean with all those rusted parts. Jus sayin!
Worst design ever 😡
