Loved the interview! Glad to hear Buzz praise Gene and Paul. Whatever you want to say about Kiss, I've never heard a bad word from bands that toured with them.
First time I saw Melvins live it was probably 2001., Kevin played bass and they also had Dave Scott Stone on tour with them as a second guitar. Saw tham another 5 or six times since but that was probably my favorite lineup and Melvins show
I just listened to this album (better two months late than never.) Good mixture of heavy sludgy songs and quirky fun songs. The short runtime ensures the album doesn't overstay its welcome. Thumbs up. I don't know how to end this post, so I will include a bear emoji for no apparent reason: 🐻
Talking of melvins bassists. How no mark. They sounded great in the 90s w mark. Steven McDonald is my 2nd. That darkglass/ barefaced cab sounded so good at that gas monkey gig
Would you guys be we willing to reach out to Mark Deutrom for an interview? I just recently found his channel on UA-cam and came across yours's a couple days later. My impression is that he's open and honest about sharing all about his time with Melvins and how that has impacted his life.
@@paulpsycho78 I've been going through the entire discography and really appreciate Mark's time playing/recording around 1993-1997. He's a cool guy so go find his channel. Melvins have always had such awesome music despite personnel changes throughout the years. It was cool hearing Marks thoughts on recording Ozma as a sound engineer/producer.
I love clearspot and spotlight kid lol it’s funny buzz likes them. My friends would hate on those ones because it was as they called it beefy’s commercial phase- I would just be like well he mastered the other style so why not go commercial?

This episode should’ve included Mike’s brother since he was involved in the other Melvins episodes
King Buzzo is the King!
