What I like about TT Isle of Man: Ride on the Edge is that there is no room for error. Same as in real life racing. This is the most realistic bike game we have today 2022

200mph in game looks like 60mph in real life
It changes a lot when you're playing on cockpit camera though. The speed feeling is the best I've seen in any motorcycle game

First time I've seen the full track on this game looks really good . The third person chase view looks are spoilt a bit by the rider movements and bike looks to stable BUT first person view I've seen in other videos makes the speed of the thing look amazing... Great video can't wait to have a go of it👍

I found that you find better lines without the racing line on and you learn the course quicker too . Done my first lap without crashing as well !!! Well pleased it is a rewarding game when you get the hang of it
Track looks beautiful but the physics don't look so great. It's fine to be arcade, just it should have better rider movement and more bumpiness.

Ádám Pajor you are right this company has fucked this game up you cant slide the bikes into the corner good graphics but waste of money i think.
Helmet cam and simulation riding style and its not this is pants racing you can go much faster on simulation and can slide the bike

Lol i was not talking about your riding style,in game when you go to game play you have to select a riding style thats what i was talking about when its on simulation its a completely different game whatever camera you use just put riding style on simulation
Ragdoll effect when crash...had a blast playing it.
Been playing this for the last few days and I love it. Once you learn to ride the bike you can rally push it but my advice is start on the 600cc its big jump up to 1000cc and much harder to ride.
Some parts of this circuit are like : full speed corners then suddenly : a hairpin. wow!
I'm so happy they remade this. used to play it on the PC in the early 2000s
How different is this game's experience as compared to ride 3 ?

Thanks for uploading and actually being able to play. So many reviewers playing this are so shite and make the gameplay look awful. So glad it's actually playable now! Was so disappointed at the test version at the NEC show but now look forward to tuesday!!

It's basically mapped by a Google street view car so every lampost and sign is how it should. Even the benches outside the castle pub in Kirk Michael are how they are where I sit:)

What controllers will this function with, please? Dualshock probably, but that's no good. Which steering wheel and pedals (Hey!, way, way better than any Dualshock and not as weird to use for motorbike games as you'd think)?
Does the bike not have any torque? Why is it always in high revs?
Can any tell the top speed this bike?
The rider moves so unnaturally 😔 but the game looks decent just wish milestone had took it on instead

I couldn't feel that rage in the engine we get in real isle of man
Really hope they come out with an update after this years TT with the latest riders on the right bikes, ie Dunlop gsxr, McGuinness on the norton.
I know that everyone is slagging off the rider animations (and rightly so) but to honest when you are playing the game yourself - or any racing game really - you won't be looking at the rider at all... you'll be looking as far down the road as you can to anticipate the next bend in the road. I hope they do fix it (alongside better suspension animation for acceleration/braking) but I think the game has a lot going for it.
EDIT - at least they accurately replicated the 2017 Fireblades' electronics lmao
100% agree, you take no notice of the rider when playing, but it still could do some tweaking lol

Only kids like the third person view which has always looked pants in any driving game. First person view for me.

Is this game any good? My misses usually always goes to the TT but obviously couldn't this year, so I was going to get her this as a stocking filler type thing...
Only thing is I got her a moto gp one a while back and we were both hopeless at it, does this play the same? Better? Can anyone compare it to any other style of racing games?

Idc what most say, this is the first IOMTT game and it looks amazing. I want to try to imprint this track in my head like the Green Hell!
It's over twice the length of the Nordschleife and has a fair few repetitive areas once you get up into the country hills so not the easiest track to memorise :)

It increases if you fall off the bike more often and it's fairly annoying and shouldn't be there. Not sure how they missed that one before release :(

What do you think of the handling? I loved the tt game on ps2 and love the current MotoGP games. How does this “feel” ?
Rider animation a bit disappointing but can look past that for now. Handling is the buy or miss factor for me.
Yeah the rider still looks really bad, but the physics feel ok, I'm not a bike guy, so, as a "beginner" they feel fine to me.
If you play bike games all the time I'm sure you'll have a better handle on the physics, then I do. So just take my opinion with a grain of salt lol.

The problem I have with a lot of motorcycle games, as opposed to car game, is I feel like the steering is too sensitive. I feel like its like you aren’t turning at all or you turn full lock. Riding on a track for instance takes very subtle movements, which apparently don’t translate well to an analog stick.

Basically at minute 7:37 there was either an IED placed on the wall to explode on impact or the physics of the bike is approximate during the crashes. Nice effort, I like the vegetation, the landscape and the lighting. But the physics is ludicrous. The driver is basically glued to the bike even jumping, no sign of unbalance. Sound doesn't seem so accurate to me. OK if there's a demo I'm gonna try it. Too much arcade, at least with the chase camera.
