I think this is what happened :
When jimin looked at jeongyeon while she interrupted bts singing spring day, netizens were making memes that "jimin looked like he wanted to kill her" and many more. I think jeongyeon saw these and also she just got bit annoyed that because she may thought " i was trying to support bts while singing spring day song and he looks at me like i did something wrong? ". So, for next few award shows whenever bts or jimin comes to the scene, she gets annoyed. I think they hooked up and maybe dated and maybe one of them hurt the other one so thats why this beef is going on. Just before the show started all the idols were talking, getting to know one another and in the talks it came up Jimin's bg as a dancer everyone started agreeing how phenomenal he was back in the day and that he could beat everyone who challenged him but Jeongyeon wasn't convinced, sure she admires and respects his skill but it's been a while so Jimin told her to bring it on, they would resolve this the old way, through a dance battle. However before they could get on it Jeongyeon noticed they were about to start and asked to post-pone it. Jimim thought she was intimidated and used the show as an excuse but it wasn't the case and that annoyed Jeongyeon so she refused to set on the date of the dance battle until he recognized she wasn't using the show as an excuse. Both, like the humans they're resulted to pettiness for a while and continued this on...they already had their dance battle, had a couple of drinks and let the issue behind them so rest assured they're in good terms 😁

Lol what probably happened was Jeongyeon saw people pointing out Jimin's laughter and got offended taking it the wrong way. Then when she started to take out her anger by giving him the cold shoulder, he got offended. I know for a fact that even as both an army and a once, I dont exactly know either idols' actual personalities, but they both come off as someone who easily gets offended. (Not in like a rude way, they just seem very head-strong, and very quick to stand up for themselves. Neither are bad traits lol)

Agree.. basically Jimin is very perfectionist, so when BTS sing in KBS show, he wants everything to be perfect to satisfy army, but then there's Jungyeon twice who suddenly tries to sing along making the harmony quite messed, thats why Jimin did that stare. Jungyeon saw those and take it the wrong way and giving Jimin cold treatment, and makes Jimin even more pissed... So that was my thought
