🕯️ A Spiritual Journey: The Votive Chapel, Saint Joseph, & Brother André's Tomb in Montreal 🇨🇦
In the votive chapel of Saint Joseph's Oratory, of Mount Royal, in Montreal Canada, you will find a statue of Saint Joseph, the patron saint of the Oratory. He stands at the center of the chapel, serving as a focal point for prayer and devotion. One of the most striking features in the chapel, is the walls lined with crutches and canes, left behind by those who were healed through the intercession of Saint Joseph. The crutches and candles are powerful symbols of healing, hope, and gratitude. On this level, you will also find the tomb of Brother André, which has become a major pilgrimage site. Canonized in 2010, he is remembered for his piety, humility, and numerous miraculous healings attributed to his intercession. The last stop on this floor, was a peek into the Crypt Church itself, where there was a service in progress
